It's a really neat store packed with a great selection of items from a myriad of fandoms. Comic books, graphic novels (including cookbooks!), figurines, LEGO, games, and more. There were also some fun accessories like LEGO earrings and necklaces featuring a variety of fandoms - Pokemon, Harry Potter, and more. Service was courteous and efficient.

The store is oriented more towards R/C interests. They did have a nice inventory of Tamiya paints and modeling supplies and I was able to pick up a few needed items. among those. They do stock plastic model kits. Civilian and military vehicles predominate in the inventory. There are a few aircraft and warships. Overall, for my interests a store for paints and tools, but not for kits.

In addition to the various hobby shop related wares - there are lots of neat little bits to the store - a miniature old school pinball machine; a little red wooden wagon mounted on the wall; upstairs on a door - a sign that painted with the words: "The Speakeasy," harkening back to an earlier time when a previous business conducted wine tastings and such upstairs at this location. My wife found this awesome little hobby shop last night while hanging out with a couple of friends, and when she came home and told me about it, we ended up going back together the next day. I'm into all things nerdy, especially anime and GUNPLA, so I grabbed an SD model kit and a Thousand Sunny Bandai kit from One Piece. They've also got individual actual Pokémon, One Piece, Magic decks, and individual cards in binders for sale (at least for Pokémon, I'm unsure of the other cards games.) They had some Anime models, Manga, a bunch of stickers, different types of dice (for tabletop gaming), plushies, some older video game stuff, and I think there were Warhammer model kits. It's a small local shop, so prices are a little bit higher than what you'd see at big box stores. BUT you're supporting a local business, and that's always really worth it. There are some game rooms in the back where people can play tabletop stuff like board games or Dungeons & Dragons. They've got a bathroom (I didn't check it out), plus a little section with snacks and sodas to indulge if you get hungry while you're there playing. Big shoutout to the guy behind the counter. He was super cool to my wife and her friends last night, and even more so when we came back today. I watched him today helping other customers too. I had a few basic questions about Pokémon and other card items, and instead of helping, she came across annoyed and uninterested the entire time. When you walk into a card and game shop, you expect at least some level of enthusiasm or willingness to help--especially with games like Pokémon, Magic, or Warhammer. Unfortunately, that just wasn't the case here. Customer service makes a big difference, and this experience completely turned me off from coming back.

I'm always interested and excited to visit Hobby Shops and Game Stores - so I pulled in to check it out. I could not find a way in to the building - all the doors were locked. I noticed the phone number on the roadside sign - and called the number. After navigating through their phone tree - someone answered the phone. I advised that I was attempting to visit their Hobby Shop - but that it was all locked up. The person advised me that it was because the person who runs the shop was under a truck - working on a truck in the rear building where they run an auto repair service. I was told they would pull the person from under the truck and have the person come out to the Hobby Shop building. I declined, I wasn't interested in interrupting someone's repair. Just be aware that if you would like to visit the ETS Hobby Shop - you may encounter challenges actually getting inside the store to visit. You might want to call ahead and check. The challenges of running a small business without proper staffing. #ETSHobbyShop
