Dr Fedoretz was very kind though and made great conversation while I was getting my dental work done. Overall super happy with university dental. She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. After the procedure, I kept going back because something clearly wasn't right. Instead of addressing the problem, they repeatedly prescribed antibiotics and insisted nothing was wrong. Over time, I saw multiple dentists trying to get answers, but no one wanted to take responsibility or properly investigate. (created a ton of fear) I was essentially passed from one office to another with no resolution. Nearly nine years later, I finally found a dentist who took my concerns seriously and referred me to an endodontist. The specialist confirmed that the original root canal had failed they missed a canal. It had been overfilled, which caused a pocket in my jaw that repeatedly became infected. For years, I was dealing with chronic infections, with my mouth flaring up every month or so, and no one acknowledging the real cause. The dentist who performed the procedure claimed to be a specialist, but based on the outcome, the quality of work was unacceptable. This wasn't just a minor issue--it led to long-term damage and significant health complications. I've dealt with chronic inflammation, recurring infections, and even hospital visits due to blood infections that were never properly traced back to the source at the time. I paid for professional care and trusted this office, and after 4 hours in a chair and thousands later in return, I was left dealing with the consequences of a failed procedure that no one would take responsibility for. It took nearly a decade to finally get a clear diagnosis and validation of what I had been experiencing the entire time.(keep in mind I couldn't live on antibiotics either so no medication to heal it or prevent infection or I'd end up immune to them if I did) I would strongly caution others to seek second opinions and ensure they are getting proper care, because my experience here resulted in years of unnecessary pain and avoidable health issues. Also fun fact for anybody getting work done anywhere,did you know your body suffering with constant inflammation and infection, like from failed dental work, ya it could cause blood sugar issues.... When the doctor finally came, he only looked at my son's teeth for less than a minute and simply said that the teeth were too crooked to fix. That was it -- there are nothing to do. What's worse, they still charged us around $140 for basically doing nothing. I understand consultation fees, but this felt completely unreasonable and unprofessional. They made the whole thing really easy to deal with and I'm grateful for that. I've been twice for check ups with Dr. Chan, he's quite gentle and takes the time to explain. His assistant is really nice and does a great job at putting you at ease. I've had a very comfortable and pleasant experience there... More pleasant than you would expect from a visit to the dentist! I also really like that they're not pushy. They're honest when it comes to the kind of work you may need, but don't push to book a thousand visits in the next year that would end up costing you. I was not told about any increased cost till all was complete and I was presented with a bill 20% higher than originally quoted. After discussion they would not even consider honouring the quote, but told me I should be grateful they did not charge me for follow-up due to intense pain after the crown. I was told, on querying the bill, that their other patients don't complain about higher bills due to extra charges that occur if a procedure isn't a perfect scenario, they were surprised I was even raising the issue at all. I will not be returning to this office.

Been going here 40 years. This time had toothache called May 28, appt June 6. Xrays state need…read moretooth filled and a crown, had temporary work done, tooth is mow so painful I go back to have checked as never experienced before, told all good. Go back July 9 to have permission crown installed. Have to freeze mouth to take temp out as so painful. 3 weeks later still in great pain, go to different dentist who asks why the fid crown and sends me to specialist who tells me tooth is cracked, root canal won't eork, tooth has to come out. Paid $1800 for crown at BDDA and now have to pay to have tooth removed. Have now suffered eith a terrible toothache for 3 months. Like flushing $2000 down toilet. Called tgey refunded me some money but none pd by insurance which affects ability to have any additional work done as ins has yrly limit. Highpriced, try to upset and after 40+ yrs I'm off somewhere else. Do research prior to booking and check their fees. No a happy customer
