My refrigerator was not cooling, but the freezer was working fine. American Appliance Company replaced a part that did not fix the problem and charged me nearly $1,000 for the part and service, and now the freezer is not freezing either. Unfortunately, the poor experience didn't end there. After the unnecessary repair, I was scheduled for follow-up appointments--at first, I was not told that the follow-up was going to be a third-party company. The company stood me up twice. You can imagine my disappointment and frustration when no one showed up as promised, leaving me repeatedly rearranging my schedule and dealing with an appliance issue that should have been resolved in the first place. What made the situation even more frustrating was the complete lack of accountability. I asked to speak with the owner. I was first told that he was on another line- I offered to hold- after holding for aprox 10 min, I was told the owner left, refusing to speak with me. When you have charged a customer nearly $1,000 for work that did not need to be done and then fail to show up for three appointments, I believe the least you can do is take responsibility and speak directly with the customer, especially since I had to rearrange my schedule to be available at that time. The combination of an unnecessary repair, an outrageous bill, three missed appointments, and an owner unwilling to address the situation has left me extremely dissatisfied. Nearly $1,000 later, three appointments missed, and still no accountability. That is not the level of service I expect from a professional appliance company that professes to be Christian.

Terrible Customer Service…read more I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received. A technician came to my home to diagnose my stove and informed me that parts needed to be ordered. I was told the parts should arrive within 3-5 days. More than a month passed without any communication, updates, or follow-up from the service company. I eventually had to contact GE myself to obtain the necessary parts. Now that I have the parts, I still cannot get the service company to schedule a technician to install them. This repair should be completed under warranty, and I should not have to repeatedly follow up or coordinate the repair myself. Waiting more than a month with no communication, having to obtain the parts myself, and now being unable to get the repair completed is completely unacceptable. I expect the company to honor the warranty, schedule the installation promptly, and complete the repair without any further delays.

I had a problem with my washer that was not normal and he evaluated the situation & found a solution to correct the problem. He was able to do this twice for me when other technicians for 10 years couldn't do it. Jeremy is an outstanding technician, but he also is a genuinely good person. He comes into your home and treats it like his own. He does not leave a mess, he doesn't break anything and he's very considerate. I highly recommend this company and I really appreciate them!!
