(2) When the siding was ready for shipping at the late end of the estimated time window (they had to order my siding), Eddie drove to Maryland to pick it up so he could get started on the job the next day. (3) Eddie and his team replaced my siding in five days, even though they lost some of those days to weather. Even in inclement weather, they worked on the siding under the car port. (4) Eddie has a good sense for aesthetics; he talked me into white trim for the house, which matches my home's accent colors, instead of the matching forest green. It looks fantastic! (5) Eddie took the time to explain what he was doing and educate me about siding, soffit, windows, tyvek wrap, and other aspects of the siding replacement job. We had two metal roofs put in by Chimo and Sons 4 years ago. We started having some leaking happen…read moretoday, so I called over another roofing company to see what the issue was. They informed me that Chimo and Sons did not remove the two layers of shingles before they put on the metal roof. When you leave on shingles in between a metal roof the heat that is distributed is so intense that it causes shift with the screws which causes leaking. I was also told that you have to be careful when putting in the screws on metal roofs because of the delicate process that it involves. The screws that were put on were put on incorrectly. We trusted this company to do the job correctly and professionally and did not get what we paid for. Now 4 years later I am in the process of figuring out how I am going to pay for two new roofs.
