Okay. I enjoy a good thrift store. I can usually find something at Goodwill to redo or something. I am not a snobby flea market hipster. This place makes you feel like you're going to be snatched from the aisle and never be seen again. Lots of vendor booths with dust-covered items and weird shit that's not the good kind of weird shit. Like broken shit. I went there to find an old globe which I did find but it took me awhile and I had to keep an eye out because there is so much shit you don't notice the old man vendor eyeing you up until you're practically cheek-to-cheek. BUYER BEWARE AND BE CAREFUL! I used to enjoy coming here. Not anymore... The first booth in front with ALL the movies and some toys is always eye catching. The toy booths in the back are still fun and bring back childhood moments. I've been visiting here since 2015 and every year it has changed and not for the better. It has become worse. The quality of items from most of the booths has decreased while the prices have INCREASED. In fact, I have even noticed some booths are charging a 7.25% tax rate (Streetsboro's current tax rate as of August 2018) on their stuff! I don't understand that one because WHO gets the taxes? Most likely NOT Streetsboro. Probably the booth owner pockets that money. Also, the last time I visited here it was a SAD day. When you walk in the building past the snack bar on the far left back wall was a good sized booth selling hardware, tools, supplies for any purpose/occasion along with expired candy at seriously cheap prices (5 for $1 regular and king sized candy bars). Well, the owner is no longer there and his "hardware store" booth was completely empty. His booth was sold/given to another vendor there that my mom and I don't enjoy visiting at all in the middle of the market. They sell various knives, swords, and tools to coffee, candy, soaps, shampoos and household goods. The prices here are decent with a good selection and sometimes unique items but you feel like you're being watched because you ARE. The seller/owner of the booth never smiles (unless you are another booth owner) & secretly and discreetly tries to watch EVERYTHING you do and touch. When you check out, don't even TRY to bargain with her over, let's say, expired candy and expired Zantac because her lack of emotion will turn to disgust. My total was $11.50 and I said, I have $11, is that okay?? Her response was blunt and interrupted me before I finished the sentence, "I need the .50 cents!" Okay, I understand you may need the money so no big deal but as the years went on visiting here, this last time was about as uncomfortable as could be and I don't understand why this owner HATES customers it seems. This was NOT the worst experience with the prices here at the market and that's including the "other" hardware booth that charges 7.25% tax on all their new AND USED merchandise! There was another booth towards the back near the furniture side and my mom and I spent some time searching through their multiple booths/tables. NOTHING was advertised correctly! My mom and I found Christmas ornaments and a glass you could get at Dollar Tree but this one was slightly dusty with "$0.35" on the bottom of it. My mom and I went up to the booth owner, asked for our total then she looked our items over and said, "$6?". 6 bucks for two used ornaments and a used dirty glass?!? My mom and I pointed to where the one ornament was 25 cents and she replied, "Yeah, but it's so nice!" What!?!? Okay?? Then we pointed out the 35 cent marking in the bottom of the glass. She then further made herself look bad by saying "That's a collector's item." Are you serious right now!?!? She apparently wasn't the only owner of the booth and asked an older man in a wheelchair. We walked away at that point and she yelled down the aisle, "I was close it's $5 for everything." No, you're not close, not at all for used, dirty, dusty merchandise that you may have found in someone's attic or closet. BUYER BEWARE! This place has become an indoor, dirty & dusty garage sale that is no longer enjoyable to visit as you either see the SAME items you saw the months (and years) before as they are asking too much, WAY TOO MUCH, or it's just so much dirty, used junk piled up that it's not safe to even look through the piles! In fact, I do believe the booth owners buy items from each other then put them in their booth and RAISE prices. You would be better off to go to GOODWILL and look through their stuff as it goes towards a good cause. I am giving TWO STARS to say, "Thanks for the memories, unique items and better sales throughout the previous years but I will not be coming back." This place is a joke and I don't know how the fire department hasn't shut is down. Booths crammed with so much unpriced crap. Random hillbilly on a bike said she was in charge of the one booth. Made up a ridiculous inflated price then accused my mom and I of stealing. It was such a bad experience I called the cops! There was one very kind lady that was completely out of place selling her goods there. So many were closed on a Saturday! Is that a key day? Talked to the owner about the rude woman and he wasn't very sympathetic to my situation. Apparently the owner of the booth is an 80 year old man with a frail wife. That's no excuse for his degenerate employee that was bitter we didn't fall for her pricing scam. Size ya up and make up a high price 5 minutes later. I will not be back. I hope that kind lady that had much finer wares can be found at other flea style marketplaces. read more

The most puzzling place in the world I went today to see what might be inside sadly the vendors decided they didn't want to work. The place is only open four days a week and today one of those days the vendors decided to take the day off. Sad too because there was some interesting junk like old TV's. Their answer is call me I assume the answer is supposed to be me waiting for them to hop in their car and come up. The few that were open were way over priced from trains to video game consoles and alike. The funny part is the price was more then EBay puzzling??? You figure they sell at or slightly less. read more

I've been stopping by this flea market for several months now, and I always make my way straight to his booth to see if he's picked up any blank media I can purchase. I've yet to walk away empty handed. I have visited other booths, but Dan is the only person I consistently purchase items from. He truly gets 5 stars! read more

If you're an 80's child or a Jim Henson fan then you've probably watched the amazing movie the Labyrinth. What on Earth does this have to do with the weird hole in the wall "flea market"? Well, if you remember the scene when Sarah falls from the night sky only to be entangled & left confused while searching for a way out of the massively depressing junk yard- you can live this adventure yourself during your visit to the so-called flea market. This place was pretty much vacant and odd...pile after pile of garbage just thrown all over the place; so much so that you couldn't tell what was being sold. Almost all of the vendors had large sheets or shower curtains blocking off their tiny little corners of the world- in all honesty it looked like a horders haven. The place was dirty, disorganized and such a waste of time!!! I overheard another customer track down a vendor & ask why it was so empty, he said that there is a fee to have a booth during the week but not the weekend so no one shows until then. But even if a vendor was open for business there isn't much to purchase, a lot of items are way over priced! The only really nice space occupied is when you first walk in, there is a very nice display of Buddha, pewter figurines & crystals, etc. And there is surprisingly a snack bar but otherwise it is such a joke! This is my second time here. We went about 3 years ago. People here were very frinedly and helpful. Not all booths were open and alot of the booths are a real mess. You really have to dig if you are looking for something. One booth was movies and books. Vendor was very helpful and his prices were great on hardcover books. read more

Dirty place but lots of vendors. Great deals.. food court as well...a lot of vintage items. .. only open around the weekends.
