    Stall at antique mall
    Andrea T.

I had been curious about the Medina Antique Mall for some time. I did not expect it to be in a strip mall. The mall was expansive with one aisle after another of stalls or display cases of items. Some of the stalls were better maintained than others. There were a few stalls we couldn't even enter because the area was too cluttered. All of the display cases seemed occupied and well maintained. There were also several staff roaming the mall in the event you needed assistance. If a staff person was not near you there were also call buttons to get help to your area. Although we left without purchasing an item there several things of interest. I would say prices were fairly reasonable, but it very much depended on the vendor.

I've been to this mall a few times, and I was especially impressed with the merchandise when I stopped in last week. The booths and cases are well stocked with a big variety of items at a range of price points. The mall was busy with shoppers and there were plenty of folks providing fast service for checking out and no credit card fees.

The selection is amazing! This place is basically a museum of vintage collectibles and fine antiques. Staff is helpful and kind! A must-visit establishment in northern Ohio.

    Look at this bullsh*t.

The place is huge and holds a ton of stuff, most of which is grossly overpriced. As a result, all the old and faded tags tell me that stuff isn't moving very well here. I came across a booth (see pics) that looked like a hoarder set up shop. I tripped on crap they have sitting on the floor. I cant believe they allow this safety hazard to exist in their mall. Dont waste your precious time here.

Lots of treasures here but sadly almost every booth is wayyy overpriced. The average book was around $20-30. The average lamp was over $100. Average statue or sculpture was hundreds of dollars, often times there were items that were thousands of dollars. Pricing is what it is, but I'd be surprised if a lot of merchandise actually moves at this place. Sellers have to realize that eBay prices aren't flea market prices. If you list an item on eBay, your potential buyers pool is the entire world. If you have it on a shelf in Medina Ohio, your buyers pool is infinitely smaller. And nobody coming in here is dropping $5,000 on a footstool shaped like a sheep.

To the sky and back was this place! Imagine it? It's there! From bottles and vinyl to everything in between, the prices here weren't unreasonable and the staff seemed knowledgeable enough and the vendors will work with you; but they have to call them.

Huge antique mall! Tons of different vendors with everything from Staffordshire to vintage toys and records. Ample amount of employees as well able to take your items up front for you as you shop which is extremely helpful when antique malls are this large! Clean restrooms with baby changing station never realized how helpful these were until in this position! In the back of the mall was sodas and snack concession area.

Huge selection, really unique pieces. This place is huge! Plan to spend some time... and some money. There is a wide price range on items, so you'll definitely want to take something home.

Oh deer! Kitschy items from the Medina Antique Mall.

I'd like to start this off by saying that in the past, I've stayed away from antique malls. I'm only ever looking for items from a very specific time frame (mostly midcentury) & I found that antique malls usually had way more country kitsch/victorian era/early American than anything that I would be interested in. One rainy day, I decided to give this place a try. I almost lost my mind over all the pants-peeing goodness contained within the Medina Antique Mall! So much kitsch! The good kind! Midcentury fabulousness here, there, EVERYWHERE! Sparkly vintage jewelry, furniture, appliances, home decor, electronics, ceramics...most if not all of it from the very era I love, and most of the prices were very reasonable. McCoy pottery! Disney memorabilia! Fiberglass lampshades! I forced myself to walk through first, make mental notes of the booth numbers that piqued my interest, and then go back and get what I wanted once I saw everything. It was hard to do. This place is H-U-G-E. And awesome things awaited me at every turn. Take your time here. I wouldn't even advise walking through the door unless you have an hour at minimum to spare. They do have floor walkers who will give you a number and carry your stuff up to the checkout while you still browse. And when you do checkout, they wrap everything carefully and are very pleasant. I also want to mention that if you see something you love, but the price seems a tad high, keep walking. I found a planter I loved but didn't want to drop $40 on. A few aisles later, I found the same planter at a different booth for $15! So patience is key. I ended up with kitschy salt & pepper shakers, the planter, and bookends for $30. Less than half of what those combined items would have cost me on Etsy or Ebay. I was very pleased, and I cannot wait to go back!

i LOVE this place. got a 1933 knickerbocker teddy bear from the front display case. i see reviews about things being grossly overpriced, but i got my bear for 76 dollars when he's worth 300. also got a bullet from the 1890s for $6, a mcdonald's lunchbox from '98 for $10, and a mousepad with the workings of a 1911 for $5

Prices are ridiculously high, there is a distinct odor in the building. Men's restroom toilet was filthy.

Another friend and I attended one of the pre auction events in November 2023 and were greeted with such hospitality, it was an incredible experience. Cynthia, Bridget, Tom, Marjorie and team provided a wonderful overview of the auction process as I was an auction newbie at that point and did not understand how it worked as in my mind from movies, etc it was always in person. The process is super easy to learn and the items in the auction were so gorgeous - I ended up buying some chairs and participating in my first auction following the experience. My arts group will be doing an event with Neuve for the upcoming auction in February 2024. Cannot wait and couldn't recommend them enough - you will spend some money here

The lady informed me that they was staying away from the "modern" collections. Only problem is most of these decanters are from 1980 and before. Quite a few very rare and expensive collectors items from the member only jim beam club. I had a professional appraiser tell me that the collection would sell between 10 and 25k dollars at an auction. If you have anything that you want auctioned off i would advise you to go to Kikos auction house. the lack of knowledge from this place is astounding.

The house was for sale, and my mother was moving out of state to be closer to family. The tag sale took place in early July, 2015, as scheduled, after the movers packed and loaded belongings go with Mom, and Mom and I left Ohio. Marjorie was initially very easy to communicate with before, during and immediately after the tag sale via phone and email, with return calls and emails answered very quickly. Starting approximately a week or two after the sale, Marjorie's return of calls and emails slowed considerably, with weeks going by before she would return a call. The agreement with Archwood called for items not sold to be removed from the house, so as to make it presentable for it's sale, and to do a cleaning of the house, costs being deducted from our proceeds. As of late August several large items such as a sofa, 2 large chairs, 2 pieces of exercise equipment, a bed frame and headboard, and a large picture were still in the house, as reported by a neighbor watching over the unoccupied house. Further, the contract stated that payment would be made within 15 days of the sale. In late August, since communication had been terminated by Marjorie and no payment had been received, we contacted the Medina County Sheriff's Detective Branch. After involving the Sheriff, my mother received 2 'cashier's checks' and a partial inventory of sold items in late September, 2015. Marjorie told my mother a few large items that were not accounted for, such as a refrigerator, stove and washer, would be reconciled and paid soon. As of late October, 2015, my mother has received no further payment, and Marjorie is not returning calls. The business card that Marjorie gave to us upon our first meeting showed her store address as xx Public Square, Medina, OH. She made no mention that she no longer occupied that address, apparently since last year. I do not recommend hiring Marjorie Donovan of Archwood Estate Liquidators for the above reasons.
