This antique mall, or as we referred to it, hoarders, overstock, is terribly overpriced and several areas of the store looks like a hoarder ran out of room in their home and there are three storage units and decided to dump some of their stuff here several areas are so full of glassware and things piled on the floor that you cannot even shop the booth and it's been like this for years. I'm not sure how many pieces they move in a day or a year but coming here a year after year after year I've noticed the same stuff sitting on the shelf with faded price tags dusty items just don't seem to move and when I do purchase something, which is rare, I noticed people in line are making very small purchases of small items like maybe a record or a couple pieces of glassware. I'm sure they move larger items every now and then but it seems like the same stuff in the same booth and display cases that never moves. There are plenty of malls out there where items are priced to sell and there's always fresh items to look at so I recommend looking around. If you're in the area, go ahead and stop, but don't have high expectations. If you live outside the area, I don't know that I would waste the time or the gas to visit this one. read more

Medina Antique Mall is a large store with lots of tins, lamps, china, records, and even a fair amount of folk art. I didn't particularly pay attention to the prices, though the maple syrup can we looked at was more than we wanted to pay. It's a nice spot to wander through on a relaxing day. read more

I had been curious about the Medina Antique Mall for some time. I did not expect it to be in a strip mall. The mall was expansive with one aisle after another of stalls or display cases of items. Some of the stalls were better maintained than others. There were a few stalls we couldn't even enter because the area was too cluttered. All of the display cases seemed occupied and well maintained. There were also several staff roaming the mall in the event you needed assistance. If a staff person was not near you there were also call buttons to get help to your area. Although we left without purchasing an item there several things of interest. I would say prices were fairly reasonable, but it very much depended on the vendor. read more

I've been to this mall a few times, and I was especially impressed with the merchandise when I stopped in last week. The booths and cases are well stocked with a big variety of items at a range of price points. The place is huge and holds a ton of stuff, most of which is grossly overpriced. As a result, all the old and faded tags tell me that stuff isn't moving very well here. Lots of treasures here but sadly almost every booth is wayyy overpriced. The average book was around $20-30. The average lamp was over $100. Average statue or sculpture was hundreds of dollars, often times there were items that were thousands of dollars. Pricing is what it is, but I'd be surprised if a lot of merchandise actually moves at this place. Sellers have to realize that eBay prices aren't flea market prices. If you list an item on eBay, your potential buyers pool is the entire world. If you have it on a shelf in Medina Ohio, your buyers pool is infinitely smaller. And nobody coming in here is dropping $5,000 on a footstool shaped like a sheep. read more

CUTE little antique mall! We drove out to the area for a weekend for the boys to go to the Jurassic Mountain for their bday! We stayed at the hotel across the street and stopped here on that Saturday. It was a cute little antique mall that took up most of our Saturday activity to walk through. It had A LOT to look at! The boys (7 & 9) were interested enough with all there was going on that it was a really nice afternoon! There was lots of stuff to keep boys intertained, action figures, video game memoriabelia, among other things. I truly don't even know where to begin with reviewing this place. In fact, I also don't know where to end. This will not be an exhaustive review. I stopped in because they were located along the way at the end of my latest weekend trip, and I'd been wanting to check them out for a while. The place is huge. No other way to say it. I started moving very slowly and soon realized the sheer magnitude. Any available wall is covered in glass cases. That actually leads to something annoying for both visitors and staff - you're constantly waiting for someone to come open a case so you can see something. And that's just the walls. There are 10 aisles with booths on either side, another section with just multiple rows of more glass cases, an entire separate collectables room, and a more rugged room in back with larger, heavier items and lots of metal stuff. Guns, swords, furniture, clothing, stationery, postcards, decor, Pyrex, Tupperware, cameras, knives, jewelry, pins, crystal, dolls, statuettes, tools, glass anything, stamps. On and on. You will not get out of here in under 2 hours if you're really looking hard. read more

I stopped by the Medina Antique Mall per a recommendation from my wife. She and her mother visited recently and said I "have to go". So off I went. As I walked in, I could see that this is a large store with lots of little booths where people sell their vintage and antique items. I have been looking for a clock that can play Westminster chimes and I found some mantle clocks, but none of them appeared to have the chimes I sought. I guess I'll have to buy one online somewhere. There were a lot of items like vintage baseball cards, clothing, antique furniture, art work, figurines, and collectibles, etc. I like to look at old stuff, but I usually don't buy it. I just don't have a desire to buy "stuff" and clutter up my house. I enjoy experiences, not things. For those who really like old "things", this is probably a store you want to visit. read more

I'd like to start this off by saying that in the past, I've stayed away from antique malls. I'm only ever looking for items from a very specific time frame (mostly midcentury) & I found that antique malls usually had way more country kitsch/victorian era/early American than anything that I would be interested in. One rainy day, I decided to give this place a try. I almost lost my mind over all the pants-peeing goodness contained within the Medina Antique Mall! So much kitsch! The good kind! Midcentury fabulousness here, there, EVERYWHERE! Sparkly vintage jewelry, furniture, appliances, home decor, electronics, ceramics...most if not all of it from the very era I love, and most of the prices were very reasonable. McCoy pottery! Disney memorabilia! Fiberglass lampshades! I forced myself to walk through first, make mental notes of the booth numbers that piqued my interest, and then go back and get what I wanted once I saw everything. It was hard to do. This place is H-U-G-E. And awesome things awaited me at every turn. Take your time here. I wouldn't even advise walking through the door unless you have an hour at minimum to spare. They do have floor walkers who will give you a number and carry your stuff up to the checkout while you still browse. And when you do checkout, they wrap everything carefully and are very pleasant. I also want to mention that if you see something you love, but the price seems a tad high, keep walking. I found a planter I loved but didn't want to drop $40 on. A few aisles later, I found the same planter at a different booth for $15! So patience is key. I ended up with kitschy salt & pepper shakers, the planter, and bookends for $30. Less than half of what those combined items would have cost me on Etsy or Ebay. I was very pleased, and I cannot wait to go back! read more

Did not expect the quality of items in Medina, OH of all places; but I'm glad we stopped and will be returning if ever in the area! We had supported the Medina Antique Mall when it opened back up to the public last weekend after an extended COVID-19 shutdown. We bought a mushroom book, a Sinatra album and four mint KISS figures. The figures got stuck under the floor guy's two armpits and I listened in dismay as the mint bubble-pack bent in and several display cards got bent as he walked them up to the cashier. Oh well. Lesson learned - don't let the employees handle your purchase or it will get damaged. So we went back next week to inspect a rare ash wood Alvarez 5029 Festival Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. I explained to the older floor guy about the need to be careful handling the guitars and how a big box guitar store had severely damaged several customer guitars including my own. He agreed and understood. He got another guy to open the case but I was not permitted to remove the guitar from the case. At this point we may as well call this second guy the floor police. Quick quiz ... so if there are sharp hard objects in the case with a rare guitar do you: a) wiggle and lift and attempt to slide the guitar past the sharp hard objects, b) move the sharp objects out of the way before moving the guitar and carefully place it on a soft clean surface or c) leave the guitar in it's place and don't risk damaging it? If you guessed B that was the correct answer. The floor police chose a) and my wife I gasped as we heard a bump and a scrape against the horns of a porcelain bull that was directly in front of the guitar. I did not even bother inspecting the guitar at the point. This guitar had been mint. It has been my experience with satin finishes that they scuff and scrape very easily. I have been collecting and appraising guitars since the late 60s. We went to complain to the manager. She was tied up with paperwork for quite some time ... for a customer, we were told. She finally came out and said it was against store policy for a customer to remove items from the case. I told her that the employees should be trained in handling rare guitars since their handling procedure is not the same as for standard collectibles. She apologized and said she would talk to the employee. If an antique mall is wanting to attract collectors than it needs to treat the collectibles as collectibles. Otherwise it becomes akin to dumpster diving. The back room where the guitar sat smelled damp and moldy. Acoustic guitars are especially susceptible to picking up mold odors and contamination. read more

wow, I've got to say that I'm surprised I'm the first person writing a review of this place. I've lived in the West most of my life, so there's not much of this "antiquing" out there because nothing is old enough! So, when I needed to start buying things to fill up my new apartment I went out looking for a few unique pieces...and promptly wound up in Medina, at one of the largest antique stores in the surrounding area. Now, I've got to say that I really love this place because all of the vendors are vetted by the company. They're all selling authentic items and have been doing so for many years. You can find pretty much everything here, from little tchotchkes to large furniture. I managed to buy a nice bench for my dining room, some side tables a large French-style dresser and a few other things to give my place character. There also a nice wooden prop from an old place I've got my eye on to hang above my couch, don't buy it! ;o) A collectors dream, the stuff in here turns over fairly fast, the sellers are always bringing in new items and I need to get down there again as there are still a few things I'm looking for to round out my place. And yes, they have a cute little cafeteria in there as well, for you "all-day" shoppers....it will take you a while to go through it all the first time. If you're ever in the area make sure to stop on by, I'm sure you'll find something to take home! An added bonus, if you buy some furniture that you can't move right away, they will store it for you free for 30 days. There is also a family business that will move the furniture for you from the mall to anywhere in the area, for a great price, just ask at the counter for their card if you need someone else to bring the furniture to you..... read more

The five stars for this review comes mainly because I have walked up and down and all throughout this establishment several times and still feel like I've only scratched the surface! I just love old things with a story. The Antique Mall overwhelms me with stories (you know, the ones I create in my head when I'm looking through the former belongings of strangers). When I go here by myself, I take my time and spend hours scouring through pieces of the past. You will find the occasional creepy doll, oversized liquor bottle, and a bust of your favorite Beatle, as well as gorgeous furniture, cherished dishes, classic appliances, interesting fixtures, clothing.. you name it! After we bought our house last year, I enjoyed touring the mall looking for the perfect mirror and nightstand for our guest room. I found both and love the charm they brought to an empty space. It has a tricky entrance and is located next to a ghost town of a strip mall, but don't let that deter you. The Antique Mall is a treasure. read more

This place consists of booth after booth of what looks to be an episode of Hoarders, featuring your white Midwestern 90-year old grandma (no offense intended, my boyfriend has one of those). Who knew there were so many glass milk bottles left in this world? And priced at $45 a pop? Note to self: start saving crap. The booths are left unattended, so if your white Midwestern 90-year old grandma also happens to be a klepto, she'd really have a blast. I say this, not to reveal my inner petty criminal tendencies, but because we had no idea what to do when we saw things we wanted to buy. Basically, you have to find a "floor guy," tell them what you want, and they will take the items you wish to hoard for yourself to the checkout line. Tips: 1. Some things are way overpriced (case in point: milk bottles. Or maybe not?). Some things are not (case in point: mink collar wool coat I got for $19.50). 2. They take all credit cards! AMAZE to the BALLS. Was on my way to Stagecoach antiques in the Kron and spied this unassuming strip mall tenant out of the corner of my eye. Did not really expect the sea of old goodies that would unfold before my Ebay strained peepers. Found Italian knick knacks my mom has wanted for like twenty years but could not find domestically(full disclosure: she mostly shops at Big Lots). Saw lots of great breweriana, military relics, lp's, vintage clothing, pop culture crap, and my favorite- racist dolls. Was cash poor and didn't get anything for myself(that's a first). We felt like cattle being herded and stalked out of the store with plenty of time left for looking. Apparently they close 15 minutes before they say they do..and we're completely rude and unapologetic . If I were the owner I would teach my staff about customer service. My husband and I were amazed at the variety of antiques this mall had.. There is some great "Simple LIfe" country-type antiques, there are inexpensive items, there is some high-class pottery and toys....there is just everything. This place is HUGE. Seriously, I was tired about 1/2 through the place. Come prepared to do some walking. I'm fairly certain we killed about 1.5-2 hours wandering around perusing items. Scored a carved bear statue and a cool old book. The prices are high for what it is, but it is an antique store so it is expected. The floor staff are everywhere and they will give you coins for your items and take them up front for you, which is nice so you don't shave to lug stuff around the store. Recommend! read more

Great antique mall. Very large with many booths offering a wide variety of styles and items from clothing to furniture. Has a selection from Victorian, traditional up to mid century. Like all these kind of places the prices vary depending on the booth, but I found them to be generally reasonable. Open every day of the week and until 8 on Saturdays which is longer than many places. Conveniently located right off the highway with plenty of parking. Not a bad place to browse. read more

There are lots of quality items here and you can easily spend over an hour looking at everything available. My boyfriend and I were here for over an hour when a store employee said he had to take my bag, when I asked him why he told me for security purposes. I said "so you think I am going to steal" he was evasive and said... "We'll we've had a lot of theft lately." Remember we have been in this place over an hour and I was not asked to check my bag when we walked in, passing four booth owners as we entered. He said the would "hold my bag in a numbered bin." Well these bins are not secure at all and they want me to relinquish my phone, wallet and keys ... I don't think so. My boyfriend and I left immediately and Will NOT be recommending this place to anyone. Huge mistake... We love to antique and will spend a lot for the right item. I have never been so disrespected or humiliated in my life. If you are under 50 don't go here or you will be followed around the store and treated like a criminal.
