Initial review 7/8/19: Scheduled show time issues (no call,…read moreno show) had me doubtful....but Benjamin and his crew did a great job removing a large dead tree near my home. After a stray limb dinged my gutter pretty good (shit happens) the crew promptly replaced the entire piece running along a portion of the front of my home. I am satisfied and will use this company again when needed. Update 9/3/19: This crew replaced the damaged gutter by screwing a new gutter piece straight into the fascia board of my home... instead of using brackets to properly secure the gutter. Mitered cuts were not joined correctly and nothing was sealed at all. Morale of the story: don't let a tree service company repair your gutters. I won't be using this company again.

However- I had to wait a month for them to come out.(not a big deal at the time) They cut the tree down and left the mess in my yard. Also the stump has not been grinded. I'm pretty sure my then nice grass is ruined but I can't tell because the debris has been in my yard for almost two weeks now. I've had to call multiple times and I was told I was "on the schedule" but couldn't give me an exact date and time as to when they were going to finish the job. They said they would get to it when they could get to it. And that they were extremely busy. I get that. Everybody is busy right now but that doesn't excuse poor communication and service. Very disappointing thus far. I just want my yard back. update 10/20- So they started on my yard almost a month ago. They finally removed all the debris and grinded the stump. After I asked them i don't know how many times. They guys that came out and did the last of the clean up had a nice little loud argument in the front yard. and they dented my mailbox. Since i can see my yard now. It is pretty much destroyed. There are ruts and holes all over the place. They finally came out today and "fixed" it but when i say fix, i mean they threw out grass seed and wiped the mailbox off. update 10/21 they knocked 200.00 dollars off for my trouble. /ticket closed. decide for yourself if this is what you want. Very impressed with my overall experience with Ace Tree Service…read more Props for: - Quick, reasonable quote - Job well done (services delivered as promised) - Great clean up after work was performed - Quickly addressed minor concerns I had after the job was done. For example, they had to take down part of our fence to get the equipment in. When they put it back up, our gate didn't hang correctly. As soon as I emailed them and let them know, they promptly had someone out who gave us a high quality, permanent fix to the problem. They also cleaned out our gutters after I noticed the debris was causing some interruption in flow. - Very responsive and friendly over email Areas for improvement: - Updates on timing. I understand that this business is busy, so I won't hold how long it took for the service to be performed against them (quote given in June, work wasn't completed until August) but I did not like that I was repeatedly having to call for updates on timing. I think it would be great if they routinely sent people weekly updates on estimated wait time for work to be performed. - Sometimes customer service was a little short and rushed on the phone I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.
