But after an oak tree sized branch fell from my neighbor's pecan tree, she was much quicker on the ball than I was. She called Champion tree service and they were here within a couple of hours. Even though I had another reliable tree service company, I decided to simplify the process and use the same company that my neighbor was using. While I am still going through the process (they are in my yard removing the tree parts they cut up previously), they have been fantastic through the entire ordeal. They were willing to get this tree off of my deck where it fell THE DAY OF THE INCIDENT. I was blown away. Not only that, but they were willing to take multiple vantage point pictures for my insurance company. They talked through the whole thing and made me feel much more secure in my first time having to make an insurance claim for my home with a tree falling. Five stars so far... and I don't expect it to be any different based on my experience thus far.

I received no education about the process. I was mistreated. Although I paid immediately I was treated with indifference when I expressed my concerns.

The only problem is getting the tree debris removed, the removal truck and crew do not come until after the cutters have finished. As i write this, it has been a week since the first trees were removed, and we cannot get reply as to when they will show up to pick up the trees. The value for the service is good, but completion of the work is a problem. Grays must have good cash flow since we have not paid them any money until the work is complete. I would suggest contacting Ace Tree or Champion Tree to confirm their tree removal process prior to hiring Gray's.

For example, they had to take down part of our fence to get the equipment in. When they put it back up, our gate didn't hang correctly. The price was also very reasonable for removal of a large, tall tree in our backyard that was presenting danger near our fence and power line, and Ben even offered a discount to me several days after I received my quote. I was already sold, but after that, it was a done deal and I didn't even bother asking the other tree companies where we were requesting quotes.
