Here's what she told me when she got home: My appointment was for 1:30. I arrived at 1:20 p.m., and was promptly taken into a room to have my brow wax done. During my service, the esthetician's cell phone rang! It rang several times before she silenced it. She did apologize. After I got home, I spent 15 minutes tweezing all the fine hairs she had missed. I was surprised to find the restroom also served as their laundry room. Which by the way, smelled like dirty, wet towels. I was taken to the waiting area and offered a choice of soda or water. I opted for a diet coke - which was poured from a 2-liter bottle. I was told it would be just a few minutes before my stylist would be ready. At 2:00 p.m., I went up front to find out what the hold up was, and was told she was running a little behind. I was also told that sometimes they just can't get their schedules straight?? At 2:30 p.m. I was finally called up for my hair cut. Normally, I would have left after 15 minutes, but I was engaged in conversation with a very nice lady who was waiting for her friend, and didn't realize just how much time had passed. Plus, I figured for $30 I would get a terrific haircut and it would be worth the wait - not so! The stylist never introduced herself, didn't spend any time helping me to decide on a cut - just asked me how I wanted it. I told her I was under the belief she would be able to help me out. She then did the quickest cut I've ever had, threw on a little product and that was it. I've gotten better cuts at Great Clips, and will be going back to them from now on. The waiting area was a glassed-in porch on the front of the building. It was quite sunny that day, and got very hot out there. No one ever came back to see if I needed a refill on my drink. By the time I got back to have my hair cut, my face was completely flushed. It took so long to get my brows waxed and my hair cut, that I had to forgo the makeover. Which, as it turns out, was a good thing! When I left, my stylist was sitting outside smoking a cigarette (right where my car was parked); she didn't bother saying "good-bye" and/or "thank you". I assume that's why she was in such a hurry to get done with me. This was the first time I've ever treated myself to an expensive cut, and I was very disappointed with the entire experience. I will not return, and will not recommend this salon to anyone. I wish I would've read the reviews before I went there.
