Nowadays, the thrill seems to be gone. I walked into New Balance, Garden City NY, I got half way in the store and it was quiet. No greeting, no, how can I help you today, or what kind of tennis shoe/ sneakers are you interested in. It's more like you're here for a reason and you're not going anywhere else. After I spoke first to the young sales rep and asked for the men sneakers and the wife with liye weight sneaker, he indulged me. Going forward, after I choose the type I was interested in, the rep brought the sneakers over, took the sneakers out of the box and left me alone to engage in conversation with his coworkers. Presentation not only matters with food, it matters in all things. The sneakers he brought over, laces were on a unattractive pattern. I'm not nitpicking, just noticing the difference in the present and the past. I'm all about paying a pretty penny for comfort. When I used to run half marathons, I tried to skimp on a pair of running shoes and long story short, after a 5 mile run, the next day, my feet hurt so bad, I could hardly walk, no more $65 imitation of NEW BALANCE. So I chose a two pair $199 and $94. I would say that the value I received was pretty fair for the type show I needed. I need one for physical therapy and one for every other day use. Of course after the weather clears up. In conclusion, there are improvements needed but time has changed and those changes may never come back. Not for nothing, a little bit more of working one on one with the customers when there's 4 customers in the store and 4 sales reps on the floor. Inspire more, yelp more!

It was pretty impressive to step into this store with its beautiful interior view and also how tidy and kept up the store is. A three-level floor with a decent selection and a lot of those products and items that look so tempting to buy, be aware. Decision-making was tough for the most part, seeing the quality and design of it all coming down to the price. Of course, that's how it goes, unfortunately. It was pretty easy to locate where each of the departments was, along also with a sign indicating where it is, specifically located at an escalator, showing each level of the named departments. It definitely helps not to get lost in the store. The highlight of the store I'd say is the furniture department, looking well organized along with a large variety to choose from, which makes you want to spend a lot of time exploring. Also, they provide Forty Carrots, famous for their frozen yogurts plus smoothies, salads, sandwiches, and other drinks and desserts. They provide sit-down as a plus. With any chance of your life, get to this store, get familiar with it, and take it all in.

We not only walked into a fabulous sale but we had the nicest young fella helping us. Highlights; Name brand sneakers and some athletic gear / clothes at decent prices. easier than dealing with the mall. lowlights; The place is usually packed and it is a small shop. They sometimes do not have what is out on display. I have never had a problem shopping here!

This was my first time to this K&G super store .recently I was there with my wife and 2 other…read morefamily members looking for a suit to wear to a wedding .2 friends of me and wife were getting married. So we were looking around for a little while. Customer service was there to help right away. The salesman a very nice gentleman showed me a few nice suits. I told him I didn't want to break the bank. But I wanted something nice for around $200.00. So he got me a couple of suits to try on .and remember there was so many different styles of suits to choose from. So I tried on a couple of navy blue suits.and he made sure it was the right size .this place has all sizes for small guys and big & tall that's a plus for us guys that are a little taller and not that big .so if you want a nice suit most sizes and colors for a decent price this is the place for you. They will also fix your size for you in the same day it will only take like a half hour to 45 minutes. They did my pants for me really fast. The staff is very decent and respectful and ambiance is nice and comfortable. So I would definitely go back there In the future

I went in with my wife last night because admittedly some of my suits don't fit any longer…read more Two gentleman came over to talk to me a bit about some of the prices and brands. After a few moments an associate named Anka came over and was wonderful. She listened to what I was looking for. Didn't rush me and stayed within my price range. Anka was excellent and very kind. I walked out with two Nick Graham suits for a very good price. When we went to the register our coupon had expired. But the woman behind the counter was very sweet and gave us 20% off with the purchase of garment bags. As well as let us use some phone coupons we had via text. They had a good selection, good prices and good service. I would recommend this store if you are in pinch for a nice suit. Some of the brands I saw and tried on besides Nick Graham were Joseph Abboud, Nautica and Cole Haan. My only small gripe is the store could use a little sprucing up/remodeling. Give them a shot. I'll definitely be going back in the future.
