For example, while the kids were bowling and the hosts were running the party, I sat away from the hubbub. The manager told me I couldn't sit at a table that remained empty the entire time the kids were bowling. This was not a restaurant setting- it was metal waiting chairs he was protecting. He came several times to instruct the hosts or other adults with random criticism. The kids were well behaved, too. It was odd.

I spoke with the director lady on this topic to be sure, and she confirmed it. Even with a clergy statement regarding religious beliefs, the Y still won't allow an exemption for your kiddo. It's disappointing, to say the least, and in a post COVID world I think it's crazy to still think that way. And I think the Y doesn't recall that they are supposed to be Christian.... It's right there in the name guys.
