It seems the servers ALWAYS end breakfast early...sometimes they say they only have lunch items around 10 o' clock (not okay). The service is not the best, they seem very laid back & not customer friendly. No apologies for CONSTANTLY not serving breakfast up until the time they are suppose to. And it seems as if now the food quality is going down as well. Today the rice tasted a bit off & we only received ONE PIECE of fajita in both are fajita tacos....that's just unacceptable. I have contacted the main offices in regards to my experience with them because I have just had it with the horrible experience over and over again.

Given their location across the "street" from Buc-ee's, I assumed QT would bring their A-game to this location. Instead, it was pretty average all around. Bathrooms weren't particularly clean, and the overall store was about as clean as tidy as you'd see a Pilot or Love's. I thought the prices actually were a tad higher than Buc-ee's but it probably depends on the item. I am 'over' the Bu-cee's experience and crowds myself, but still, I'd wait the minute or two to turn at the TX-21 light and pay them a visit over this particular QT.

Tacos are $2.50 or $3.50 each, depending on the taco. The attendant who took our order translated for the cook. All the ingredients were more on the Mexican side of Tex Mex. If you ask for spicy salsa, they give you a little bit of what looks like a cool, green creamy avocado salsa. But don't get fooled by appearances. It packs a wallop! We each two tacos each and were very full. I had a mole taco and a barbacoa taco. My wife had bacon egg and cheese tacos. They were all generously filled. They're authentic enough that you really don't need to add cheese. And the bacon was the type you get at the Super Mercado, not at HEB. It's all pretty authentic, and I'm glad it's so close to home. I'm keeping my 5-star rating for this place. It's an Aim Mart now (no longer Woodies), with an Exxon out front, this Mexican place, Hunt Brothers Pizza, clean restrooms and a beer cave inside. They have nice 70% dark chocolate bars (several to choose from), and your standard convenience store items. Each has pump has a squeegee with soapy water. And there's always people shopping there but never a line. What more can you ask for in a gas station?
