I don't often get my nails done. It's a luxury to me so I only go if I have something special coming up. That being said my hands are not in the best shape. I went to Stripes because I had been here once before with my mom and I don't really like going to new nail places if I haven't been there before. I asked the nail tech my nails were long enough for a gel manicure. She called over another nail tech, held my hands up to her, asked her a question, and they laughed at me. Then they strongly recommended I get acrylic tips which I did not want, but ended up getting anyway. I will say my nails look nice for what I got. They did a good job, but during the whole appointment I felt humiliated and embarrassed. I likely won't be returning. read more

For the first time I did a dip manicure so I can't accurately compare it to any other manicures I received. But it looks good and that's all that one can ask for. I rate this place a 3 Star for 2 reasons: 1) when asking which colors I want I was told to stay away for a certain brand and pick another. Later to find out (when paying no less) that OPI costs more than the brand I was told to stay away from. I feel like that's shady. 2) when taking of my gel nail polish (what I had on previously) the guy doing my nails cut my nail bed to the right of the nail not only once but twice on the same hand. It wasn't even the first time he notice. He only noticed the second time because it was profusely bleeding. He was very apologetic, blaming it on the new tools that he was using. He kept apologize over and over which it was fine. It just sucked that I feel he couldn't do that nail properly because of the situation and 6 hours later is still bleeding. This place is brand new and is having an opening special of 20% off. Fortunately he gave me a $5 discount on top of the special. I'll probably be back for a pedicure to take advantage of the special. But beware and don't be afraid to speak up unlike I did if it hurts! read more

I came here on a whim on a sunday afternoon because it is close to my work, and my coworker was here and invited me. I'm glad I came to check it out! They were having 20% off so I figured why not. The inside is VERY nice, all new massage chairs and equipment--CLEAN wmvironmen. they sterilize all of their tools. Most importantly the staff is so very friendly, and although english isn't their first language, it wasn't hard to maintain a conversation with them. I got the Deluxe Pedicure and it was very relaxing. They did a wonderful job from start to finish. I will be back! ****Updating previous review from Oct '18...came for a dip set, this is 2 weeks old. has held up great as I am tough on my nails. I asked for coffin on 6/10 of my nails. charged $5 extra for coffin shape & they came out square...had to beg for the guy to shape them the right way, still came out square &my pointy ones were uneven. I ended up reshaping the pointy ones at home. would now rate 6/10. nails last, but it cost me $5 more for something i didn't get and the attitude about wanting my shape done symmetrical left me w the impression their customer service isn't what it once was. 6/10 if i'm being nice. read more

I rarely get my nails done, but I felt like getting them done yesterday and so I went in with a simple design. The lady I had proceeded to tell me what I should do, and would not listen to what I asked for. I payed $55 dollars for this!!! This is such poor quality and you could tell she did not care. I went back in an asked if there was anything they could do to fix this. The guy up front said "I don't see what's wrong" and refused to help me. I got told I'd have to pay for another manicure if I wanted them to fix there poor quality mistakes... if you want good nails and quality service don't go here. read more

I relocated to Arkansas and Google a nail salon near me. I picked this place and that was the start of my nightmare. I got a manicure and pedicure. I spent $85 with the tip. Only to end up with fungus. Do not go to this place. Two days after my pedicure my feet were itching and my toes were sore. I've since lost both nails on my big toe. read more

I was in Jonesboro for work. I came in this shop for a gel Pedicure and nails painted with gel polis. Nails chipped in less than 12 hours. I went back in to see it could be fixed. The owner wanted to know what I did to chip it and would not make time to fix it. I asked for a refund for bc gel shouldn't chip. He refused. I will never do business at this shop. Very unprofessional. waste of money read more

Awful customer service here, do NOT go. Went with my girlfriend to get her nails done and the nails looked awful. We went back and tried to see if we could get them fixed, redone, or even just a refund. The answer was a hard no. The nails were awfully done by an obvious beginner/trainee and I highly recommend going elsewhere if you want to enjoy your experience and like how your nails look. read more

Came in at 2:30 to get a fill. At this point, there were 2 people in front of me. I knew that and agreed to wait for them. Around 10 minutes later, two new women walked in with no appointment. Those women ended up going before me. I waited an hour for a fill (that was sloppy) with no apology or explanation, it's like they didn't even care. I didn't get out of there until almost 4:30.
