I was here on business and decided to get my nails done. The staff were super friendly and this lovely woman did a great job with my nails... they seem to last forever!!! I got gel nails done March 6 and today is April 9th and these guys are still going strong. I've done dishes, used cleaner to clean, everything. Unreal. Definitely not worth the $115 dollar I spent. I got my nails and my 5 year old daughters, as well as my feet. As you can see on my pinky nails he didn't cover my nail all the way. I had to unstick my tip of my fingers from all of my nails. Just a very sloppy job. read more

I like the location and look of this salon. It was big, bright, clean and very relaxing. The staff was friendly and efficient, especially the young men giving pedicures, but I can't say I was pleased at the end of my mani/pedi. While the prep work for my pedicure was nice & relaxing, three hours after my pedicure, all the polish on one of my big toes was completely raked off when I put on a sandal, so now I have one naked toenail. My fingernails look okay, but not great. The price was pretty good despite the boo-boos. I'm not in Jonesboro a lot, but I'll give them another try. read more

I went in as a walk in and told them I wanted a full set almond shaped in matte black. The little girl did a great job though one or two fingers shape is a little off and around my cuticles needed cleaned better from the black color dip she used. However over all very happy with service and price which was $50. Will be going back! read more

This was such a great experience!! Everyone was so so kind and gentle on my fingers! No cutes or scrapes, and the lady who did them was very very nice and had a conversation with me the whole time! My nails aren't that bad, however, they cut my skin and drew blood and he didn't even acknowledge it happened. He consistently yawned and a couple times almost fell asleep. I went in and asked for acrylics and dip and he gave me a manicure without my consent and CHARGED ME!!!! The acrylic, which is additional charge, is barely longer than my fingertip (and a couple of them you can't see over the skin at all) when I asked for a little over the skin but he filed them so much that they ended up being as short as my real nail. They also wouldn't accept my gift card because it "expired" even tho there's no date on it whatsoever. Probably won't be back. read more

I was traveling through the area and needed my nails done. I walked in and was immediately greeted and seated with a young lady. The salon and staff were nice. I requested a soak off and full set with gel polish, which was reasonably nice. I watched the news while getting my nails done and didn't really pay attention to the details until I went outside. I requested a thick acrylic, but received the same overlay as the person beside me who didn't request anything overlay related. As a result of this, my nail broke after three days. I wasn't pleased with the acrylic application, as I'm sure I will need a fill sooner than usual. The polish application was flawless. Will I return in the future? I probably will give them another chance, but I won't rush back anytime soon. read more

Dont let the older lady in the shop touch your nails she'll only do one coat on your toenails and miss spots all on them. I should not have had to pay 72 dollars like I just did for two deluxe pedicures when mine was all messed up with only one coat. They burned me with the hot stones too. My mom luckily got the younger one of the two who took her time. That's the only reason I'm giving them two stars is that my moms actually look decent. read more

I went there for the first time. As the guy was shaping my nails I noticed one was not straight he attempted to fix it but it still wasn't right. Right before leaving I noticed one of my nails wasn't painted right. So I asked them to repaint it, the lady pushed my shoulder and said "sit here" 3 days later I had two break. I drove there on my lunch break, but they were closed. At 4pm even though the online hours said they were open till 7:30. So I had to go somewhere else and pay 10$ to fix two nails. Then today another one broke. So I checked before going and google said they were open. But they weren't! So when it's time for a fill in, I'll be going somewhere else. I do NOT recommend. read more

The staff was polite and attentive, and fit me in immediately without an appointment (walk-ins welcome). I selected their pedicure #2, and was not disappointed. Went to a couple of nail salons in town before I stopped by here and found the place that I was looking for! Everyone is very friendly and while they are always busy, I never feel rushed. Every visit you are offered a complimentary drink (water or soda). They also offer different nail packages so you can see upfront what you are getting and how much you will spend. The place is very clean and they use sterizled tools each time. You don't have to make an appointment but you can if you have a particular person you want. I go regularly now and love the work that Larry does on my hands and feet! read more

I've been to two different nail salons here in town. I'm new to Jonesboro and so I would like to find a nail salon to go to all the time. I received the deluxe spa pedicure. First, the massage chair didn't work. He never asked if I wanted to move to another chair so I sat there without a working massage chair. The foot massage was decent but I wasn't impressed. One coating of polish and done. I paid for the services and gave a 20% tip because he hovered over my shoulders as he watched how much tip I put on the receipt. He sat me at the dryer and basically went about his business. Didn't come back to put my own sandals on or do a finish spray on my toes. The best nail salon I've been to was in little rock. It wasn't fancy but they had excellent customer service. I saw nothing that resembled it here. Seems like there's limited places to go around here but I definitely won't come back to pay for the deluxe. read more

Be ware customers not only their service is bad they cheat. They make you think that they are using new and sanitized tools, they use the tools a second time on the second customer that happens to be next in that chair they flip the bag and open it from the other end so the customer think that the bag and tools they are using are fresh sanitized tools when all along they are not. When I called them on it they got mad and did not like that I saw what they did. I requested they use a new fresh set they refused so I walked out without the service. Please customers pay attention I hate to have anyone get infected with anything even if it was just nail fungus. read more

I'm torn about this place. While I will say that they are very clean and generally do a very good job on my nails, I had an experience this morning that has made me decide that I will no longer go here for gel manicures. The past two gel manicures I have had here have both started to lift from the bottom and peel from the tip within the first week. The first time, I was out of town for two weeks so I just peeled the rest of it off, chalked it up to a fluke and forgot about it. This time, My nails started lifting/peeling while I was out of town for the weekend (7 days after the manicure). When I got back to town (10 days after the manicure) I went in to get my nails fixed and Sarah (I believe she is the owner) argued with me that it has been a long time and was normal. I disagreed. Idol SAYS that they guarantee their gel for two weeks. My nails started peeling after one. I wasn't able to make it in until 10 days had passed, but it was still well within two weeks Sarah argued with me further, meanwhile giggling and saying something I couldn't understand offhand to another of the guys there. It was very rude and unprofessional. I remained polite reminded her of the day of my last appointment being only 10 days before and said that if they were unwilling to stand by their guarantee that I understood and would go elsewhere. At that point, Sarah grudgingly re-did my nails. I will be disappointed if they peel and lift again but regardless, I will not be visiting Idol for a manicure again. (I will consider them if I only need a pedicure sometime, as they are very clean and do a nice job.) If they have an issue with customers coming in for repairs within two weeks of service, then I suggest they discontinue their two week guarantee. read more
