The service has been terrible at this location since they opened. Which is unfortunate because I like the fresh tortillas they use for the tacos. Lines can get really long in the morning and around lunch. Most of the time with one cashier. I avoid these times because I usually do not have the time to wait. Used to be a big fan of Stripes, but it seems as though they all have gone down hill. I shouldn't say "ALL", but at least the four that I have been going to for the passed couple years. Stores used to be clean and fully stocked drink selection. Not any more... This one on 2920 in spring has gotten to be so rediculous that I have started driving an extra 2 miles out of my way. Drink selection is NEVER STOCKED, morning to night! I MEAN NEVER!!! Floors are sticky. The cashier's (not all of them), on there cell phones with customers standing in front of them. The food is always good. But the staff there at the food side is rude to point that makes one question why they even work there around people. The ladies have always been short and unhelpful with any questions. There was a guy there who was absolutely awesome and is the only one who seems happy to be there. It's a shame I can't remember his name because he really was great. The food deserves five stars but I simply can't allow myself to do that because of the terrible staff (minus the guy). read more

Have been a customer of Stripes for years and recently had THE WORST experience with a clerk (kookie) ever!! She was disrespectful and rude... While trying to use my card outside at pump, it wasn't functioning properly, so I went inside, waited in a LONG line and when it was my turn, I told her the pump wasn't working. She said I needed to pay inside. No problem. Instead of using my card, I gave her cash and asked for the discounted stripes card they offer to cash paying customers.. she seemed irritated. She then loaded card with my $15. I went out to use the card I paid cash for STILL not working. I came in and she ignored me and continued to have a conversation with another customer while I stood there. Then after that customer left she proceeded to ignore me and ask another customer if she could help them, all the time ignoring me. I finally said "Ma'am can you please check the pump it seems to having issues".. she ignored me. I stood there.. STILL BEING IGNORED. I finally walked closer to counter and said " Ma'am,Can you please check the pump, it's not taking the card I just bought from you?" she then proceeded to scream at me, using unsolicited remarks i.e.; "You need to calm down!", "Don't talk to me like that!", "I'm a person too", as if she was trying to make herself the victim in the scenario, as she slammed around behind the counter, rolling her eyes and making loud signing noises. I was shocked, because I hadn't raised my voice or been nasty to her. I just wanted the gas I paid for. After working all day myself, to have someone treat me this way, was awful. I also work with the public and would never speak to a customer the way she spoke to me. She is a detriment to the Stripes Brand. AVOID!!!! . I will never go there again. Rarely a wait for gas pumps, facility is appropriately staffed. Don't try to get tacos before six because that part of the store rarely opens on time read more

I was in the process of buying one monster drink and some snacks. Then the front register had a deal 2 for 4$. I grabbed another one. Cashier charged me full price for both. I showed her the sticker, she lied and said that deal is no longer available. Since she was too lazy to refund. And also told me to go ahead and swipe the cc before she rang up all my other items. pretty much she lied and my cc was charged before noticing. read more

Stripes used have some of the best tacos. They weren't selfish about the servings either. NOW they serve it out as if they were rationing to make it last all week. That's sad cuz they use homemade tortillas unlike most places around here. read more

Heard really great things about the taco company. I went over there on Sunday morning to purchase 3 tacos. I was in the store for 35 minutes while the "shift leader," stood around waiting for the one girl to work. The couple in front of me ordered 15 tacos. The line was backed up, and no one else helped. The couple in front of me emptied every breakfast taco container. The employees said everything was out but one breakfast item. I settled for what they had, but will not be back on the poor service. The salsa was empty, and the employees seemed to want to chat amongst one another then helping out. If multiple people were working, then myself as well as the other 5 customers behind me would have ordered their one taco before it was all gone... I'm giving them 2 Stars bc the tortilla was fresh. read more
