I ended up going with satin black to avoid getting ripped off even though we had already executed a written contract with the price and color. Caveat Emptor dealing with Brad! He's the service manager and should not be dealing with the general public . His attitude is caustic , brash, arrogant and overall a bad representation for this business. Adam the owner was very nice and agreed with me that the backing of my fence needed to be done over as there was some white material on the black powder coating. Victoria was very nice and gracious after they lost my spacers for my hinges but didn't believe me when I told her the spacers they made didn't line up with the hinges. She was just relaying information from the young and arrogant son of the owner named Aiden. I dealt with that kid on numerous occasions and he seems to think he knows everything. I told him my spacers and hinges were custom-made from Artistic ironworks and they need to match perfectly otherwise they won't fit and of course that went in and out of that kid's ears. They had a new set made but the holes didn't line up, they had burs on their drill holes and were not square ! It looked worse than 8th grade metal shop ! I had to have an other set made which cost me $200 and resulted in me getting a violation from the city for not having a gate with a pool home. They did not wrap up my freshly painted gates either and the staff in the warehouse became indignant when I asked them to wrap them ! They refused and I had to use blankets that were in my truck! I'll never use this company again that's for sure! Today I got a call from Adam the owner complaining that my review was "destroying his business" but he didn't offer to pay for any damages that I had incurred as a result of their carelessness. I told him I stand by my review because it's all truthful! Just got another call from "Kristen" saying she's "gonna get this review removed" Everthing in this review is truthful and it's sad that they don't try to make amends with me instead of threatening me to get it removed! I guess they don't believe in the first amendment! We just celebrated America's 250th anniversary and that's one of the freedoms we have! Caveat Emptor! There are much more ethical and customer oriented business to choose ! So Adam you didn't lose my spacers ? How do you know what transpired if you were not there ? You're trying to spin it like it's my delusions of what transpired! The fact is you never offered to make me whole after your business lost my spacers and denied it ! I had to show pictures of my gate with the spacers installed ! The fact is Adam the replacements you had made were atrociously subpar and couldn't be used ! You refute these facts ? Can't say enough about this business. Beyond outstanding…read more My husband is employed in fire and safety at a huge race venue. He is always on the look out for honest, reliable, people whose passion is motor sports and own auto and RV repair companies. Boy did he hit the mother lode working in this industry. After the shop we usually used for RV repairs went out of business, he was referred to D&R by a friend at the track, who received his referral from a race team owner. We made an appointment, and were greeted by Victor. He really took the time to look at our concerns. No rush, with clip board in hand documented every one of our RV concerns. Asked us if we any upcoming trips and what kind of time line we were looking at for completion of repairs. We were in no particular hurry. But did say we would like to pick it up in about 3 weeks. We needed brakes all around and a couple of new airbags, along with a few much more minor repairs. Work was completed earlier than we thought and were thoroughly pleased with the motorhome. Prices were very reasonable and we feel very confident in the work that was completed. We returned the RV for more work several months later. This time we had the pleasure of working with Daisy, again clip board in hand, documenting all of our concerns. We had a bouncy floor near slide out. (Water damage?). We also had an engine check light that kept coming on randomly. When we purchased RV used (from a race car owner/friend), he told us this was an ongoing issue. He told us he had taken the RV in for this several times when he owned it. Never could pinpoint the cause. Said everything checked out motor-wise. Rafael & Daisy, the owners of D&R, sat us down and talked to us about what could be wrong initially. Squishy floor could be water damage, could entail slide removal ($$$$). Total mystery why engine check light keeps coming on until further investigation ($$$$). We left there sorta feeling sick to stomach. Glad we were braced for worst case scenarios. Picked up RV couple weeks later. Squishy floor was simply the floor board in that area had become slightly warped. All was needed is lifting tile and screwing that layer back down. No water leak or damage. You could not even tell the tile had been lifted. I'm really finicky & absolutely no signs of repair. No bounce. Showed us pics of repair work. Wowed! Engine check light concern was addressed. Engine components were checked out. Everything was working properly. Rafael told us we could spend thousands to get the light to go out but he thought it would be a waste of money. In his experience, he has seen this type of issue happen, owners spent thousands on new computer, etc. only to be, simply, a faulty relay switch. Told me to turn on engine but to wait to start motor. I was not doing that. Could be motor/computer communication issue. I'm happy with this. Have used this rig and have seen no performance issues. When we have visited this shop, we are always greeted warmly. Daisy & Rafael are a true pleasure to hand our money over to because we know their work is quality and complete. Sure owning a motorhome is not a cheap form of recreation but it's sure the best when everything is working properly. Thanks everyone at D&R!

Got my 5.7L LS1 engine machined here back in 2017-2018. Fast forward 7-8 years later and either my…read moreoil pump starting going out or bad bearings idk. All I know is that I gradually lost all oil pressure and heard insane knocking noises. Not exactly the thing I wanted to happen on a rebuilt and upgraded engine that is only 7-8 years old since the last rebuild/machining. Definitely too soon for something like this to happen. She wasn't even over 100K miles yet (maybe around 80-90k?). On top of that, I never raced her let alone even had work done requiring removal of the oil pan! I was very strict about oil changes and all maintenance. She was my daily driver and racked up a good amount of miles. Still unsure exactly what's causing my problem as I haven't taken her apart yet but at this point, time for another engine (unfortunately)! Very disappointed.
