Absolutely fantastic animal hospital! I've been to soooo many clinics around south Florida and always felt things were subpar and even just downright awful (I have an English bulldog, I joke that we keep clinics in business). We recently moved to Stuart and found Stuart Sound Animal Hospital. I cannot say enough good about this place! I am SO pleased with every vet, tech, receptionist, and grooming staff I have encountered there. They're so kind, patient, and they seem very happy, which I think is a reflection of management as well. The pricing is a bit higher than other clinics in the area but to me, it's totally worth it. I leave every appointment feeling genuine relief. I would continue going here even if I moved out of the area! Took our puppy in because she was getting sick and not acting herself. The staff was top notch. All so friendly, upbeat, personable, and still professional. Dr. Adams took an amazing amount of time with us. She gave is options, have her opinion, and answered all our questions some of which weren't related to our visit but relevant to all of our pets. Our 10 month old pup had some issues we were concerned with. Lisa the receptionist greeted us warmly and gave me the forms to fill out. The Vet assistant, another friendly professional, checked the pup over and said DR Rowley will be right in. DR asked a few questions, examined the pup, gave the pup a shot and said the pup should be OK. I have been to many animal hospitals over the years. This one is in the top of the list. I guess it's par for the course. Overpaid for service and meds. Online the meds cost about $70 for all five. They charged me $180. Also the vet brings fear into the room and my dog can sense it. Blood work and urine for my dog cost over $300. So $500 plus day at the vet. I just cash paid for my yearly in Stuart for the same test $129 and I'm a human. Vets are thieves. To top it all off the vet made all these claims about what could possibly be wrong with my dog and offered no certainty, only more tests needed to be done. Find an honest vet. From the moment Jessica answered the phone, I knew I got the right veterinary facility, especially since I had spoke to a few others prior to making my decision where to take my fur baby. She made every accommodation possible to get my fur baby seen the next day understanding the urgency of her condition. I felt like I had known and been a life long client, even though I was visiting from out of state. Everyone was kind, attentive and so helpful - from the receptionists, to the tech to Dr. Pike. This staff bundled all together is 5 stars hands down. My baby got one of the most thorough exams she has ever had. Dr. Pike not only explained everything she was doing through out the exam when the xrays came out she walked me thru each one of them showing me where the problems were. We've taken our dog and two cats to Dr. Steers and Dr. Carlson for 12 years. There is no vet in the area that gives your pet more personal attention. They have caring, compassionate staff, reasonable prices, and an array of services that includes grooming and boarding. Open M-F 8am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-noon. After-hours emergency services are through a partner facility a few miles away. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stuart Sound Animal Hospital. Dr. Myles Rowley went above and beyond to extend the life of my dog after diagnosing him with congestive heart failure. The entire staff was so efficient, kind and compassionate. She gave him more time than anyone thought and was there for me and my family for every stage.
