We had a great experience st Stuckey Brothers Furniture. We wanted 4 dinette armchairs for our sunroom. We has a picture of our old farmhouse table. They helped us pitch out the right style and finish. The manufacturer even sent us two colored pieces of wood to help us in our decision. I wish I could give this store 0 stars. I'm completely appalled by the lack of professionalism, service and overall experience my wife had to endure upon entering store. The first thing out of the sales ladies mouths was " Are you sure your in the right store?" Maybe my wife's attire, which was basic at the least, that made them question whether or not she capable to purchase a new couch for our new home. Then they proceeded to show her the cheapest and underwhelming choices which they so rudely assumed she could afford. How dare this store make judgments of that nature. My wife kindly said " I think I'll take my business elsewhere" and left. Stuckey Furniture will never get my business and I hope this changes at least one other persons consideration before visiting this store. read more

We've purchased many pieces from Stuckey Brothers over the past three years including a sleigh bed for a guest bedroom, a comfy and great looking leather sofa, a custom fabric couch for our sunroom, our entire dining room, an adorable kitchen table with stools that tuck underneath and most recently (today), a perfect accent chair for our living room. Awesome experience with Stuckey Furniture. We went in on a Saturday afternoon to purchase a new mattress. We were quickly helped by Lynn who is extremely knowledgeable and had a "no pressure to buy" mindset towards us. We told her what we were looking for and what our price range was and she gave us multiple options and plenty of time to decide which mattress was right for us. Delivery of the mattress was very easy. We were given an hour time slot of 11am-12pm. The delivery staff arrived exactly at 11am and were done in about 10 minutes! They even took our old mattress and box spring. We will be back soon for a new couch! read more

I would like to commend Mr. Stuckey and Brian, the manager, on their prompt action when they realized that my husband and I were having problems with a recliner that was only two years old. They immediately contacted us and even came to our home to address the issues. It was resolved with the very best solution possible. The owner/manger's incompetency is outlined here. I have been in town for two weeks. My fortune 100 company has transferred me to Charleston. I needed furniture for my new condo downtown. I had 3 people recommend this location. I did what anyone in the year 2020 would do and google the business/location. All google searches and the company website said they were open Saturday until 6:00 pm. So I drive 20 miles out of the way and show up at 4:30 pm and guess what? A sign on the door saying "closed for the holidays until 12/1/20" Which I think is great so employees can spend time with their family and friends. BUT for GOD's sake if you can not do a simple task of communicating properly at all levels where you advertise and post your holidays hours correctly then do the public a favor and keep your doors closed for good! Your lack of communication just cost you my $10,000 sale. Not to mention the negative communication about my experience to my 10,000 employees. Nice job Stuckey's you just gave my business to your competitor. BTW there is not one thing that this business could do or say to even try and fix this. The best thing you could do is to fix it during the Christmas holiday week and we will see if you learned anything. Not Recommended. My experience started out great with the sales woman, Cheryl, unfortunately the friendly service ended after I swiped my credit card. I purchased a couch and delivery was scheduled for the next day. The delivery team arrived the next day as expected but refused to enter my home unless all occupants were wearing masks. "No mask, No couch."Unfortunately for them, they do not get to call the shots in my house. They reloaded the couch and left my driveway. I called the store and spoke with the manager, Brian, who was less than friendly. Brian advised he would contact his delivery team and speak to them. A short time later the delivery team returned, rang the door bell and brought the couch inside our home with an awkward silence and horrible attitude. The delivery team then left without further incident. Brian never called me back as promised to follow up on this incident, so I decide to call him back and follow up. After 3 attempts I finally reached Brian and his less than friendly attitude. Brian did not offer any explanation, apology or follow up of any kind and instead bragged about being in business for 80 years and pointed out that I did not wear a mask while in his store. I explained to Brian that I would have been fine leaving his store if he approached me, however he nor his employees did, and I suspect this was because he didn't want to lose a sale. Moral of this long and uneventful story is; If you like a delivery man showing up at your house with an attitude telling you that you need to wear a mask in your own house, then maybe Stuckey Furniture is the company for you, if you like enjoying the basic freedoms our country was founded on then you might consider shopping elsewhere. As for Stuckey Furniture, thanks for the comfy couch but you may want to reconsider your customer service approach and find some delivery personnel who aren't afraid to encounter humans without masks. read more

Stuckey's is always first rate in helping with furnishing needs. I appreciated the extra measures they have taken during Covid with masks and cleaning. They are always hospitable and ready to help. We love our new chairs that arrive sooner than expected. We have shopped with them for years and will continue to do so. read more

We purchased a custom order sectional sofa and chair in November 2016. It took over three months to receive the furniture and almost immediately needed to have a portion of the sofa frame repaired/adjusted. Stuckey attempted the repair twice and since then another area of the sofa has started to squeak and is completely unstable. This was not an inexpensive piece of furniture and it does not receive a lot of use so it would seem this is very poor quality construction. The sofa does look nice but that's the only positive. If you are looking for a slip covered sofa I would not recommend purchasing it from Stuckey. read more

DOES NOT SELL THE WAY PEOPLE WANT TO BUY.....i purchased a marvelous $2000 Stickley kitchen table and $1300 living room chair in 2013. There was minor slight scratch damage on corner of Stickley table. Probably caused by Stuckey Bros handling furniture when delivered. The damage was overlooked by me for couple of weeks. What makes this state of affairs reprehensible is seller made no attempt to disavow responsibility but despite several appointments and promises to repair always is a no-show or a no-call. Makes excuses and behaves like an honest face con-man. I have the greatest contempt for a liar. i have never seen this kind of behavior by an owner selling Stickley furniture. read more

Appreciate your response, Lee. My review was posted more than a year ago, and only prompted after other friends had expressed they'd had the same experience with the quality of your products. I bought the couch in 2012, at which time I spoke with a manager several times and even came back to the store to find him several times hoping for a remedy. I wish it had turned out differently but it was not for lack of me trying. In fairness, I feel like my patience and not being more aggressive in asking for a replacement or refund was my own fault. I assumed your customers would be valued enough for you to offer to fix the problem. I'm in customer service myself and would never post a negative review without giving several opportunities for a complaint to be adequately addressed, out of respect for the business. After months of trying, I gave up, thus the review several years later. It's water under the bridge in 2016. read more

Outstanding. All good experiences after multiple purchases. Over the last 10 years we purchased a large metal bed, leather couch and love seat, coffee and end tables and the entire wicker on our poarch. In last month added an accent chair/ recliner. Also bought from Haverty and checked lazy boy along the way. Stuckey was far better on sales price, delivery and service. The quality versus price point was always explained so that we could decide. In Charleston we shop and eat in local places. Franchises and chain places have too many management and profit layers. This is as good as you can get for a locally owned business with a variety of mid range options. read more

Very helpful salesman and good selection of furniture on the floor and in catalogs, as well as reasonable prices. They had several familiar furniture brands and a few I didn't know but were really nice. They offered to get wood samples and give me a color copy of the item that they could order for me. After a lot of browsing, I ended up buying a bed they had in stock that was even on sale and plan to go back the next time I'm in the market for furniture. Splurged and bought 2 leather Stickley recliners. Good sales rep at front end, beautiful chairs and very attentive to the dilemma we were put in regarding the delivery. That being said, nothing "special" was done to ease the mess we had. A restaurant gift card for $25 would have been nice. The problem was the store we purchased it from (Mt. Pleasant) and the delivery store (Heminway) had a break down in delivery date. My hubby had an injury and is in a wheelchair and cannot walk. Knock on the door and there are the 2 delivery guys and 2 chairs. Surprise! Would have liked a heads up so I could get some friends here to move out a large, heavy sectional and two large chairs, could have vacuumed, etc. Nope. I asked the delivery guys to take out at least 1 piece of the sectional and the heaviest chair, which they did. It was a whirlwind to say the least to find a place for these two large recliners. So I called our salesperson and a few people did call back to apologize. No sweat off their end. I did ask for some paperwork also since I received nothing at all, no delivery receipt, no leather instructions, no warranty. I had to call again and did receive them in the mail. So, to date.....hubby still in wheelchair, 2 large sectional pieces and 1 chair in the kitchen....until I can get some friends or family here to take it to garage. The recliners are great to sit in and sip wine to take away the stress of this fiasco. Have a good day all you Stuckey people. read more
