He'd told her during class, "Math is my nemesis." As someone who does NOT have a good relationship with math, I've always wanted to make sure that my boy doesn't have the same math-related hangups, so I decided it was time to act. Toward the end of the semester, we started small group math sessions 3 times a week with Power ASC. He pouted through the whole first session and didn't want to even attempt any of the activities. He got frustrated very easily if he thought something was too difficult. Before long, he was one of the loudest kids in the bunch! I watched his confidence grow right along with his number sense, and when the sessions ended for the summer, he said "Aww man!" My kids have been attending for about a month now and they're very excited about going to the learning center and school period. They also attend a field trip every Friday. Ms. Lalana makes learning fun. She also has over 500 YouTube videos of various math lessons she taught in class. Ages Kindergarten through 12th grade. The space is open for learners of all types. The children don't feel like they all have to be at the same level in order to be considered successful, but they are all learning. They are supported and do understand they have to work to be successful, but their tutor is helping them to do it. Located right in the middle of downtown Tucker, this business is surrounded by activity and unorthodox educational opportunities. The children here go on field trips every week and they have a theme that they follow weekly too. They look forward to learning something new each week and incorporating all aspects of their learning that week to the theme. It's amazing to see children so excited about school and learning. My son enjoys going to school here and looks forward to what he will learn each week. I have never seen him so excited about school. That is the best part for me. BCG Learning has made a significant improvement in our son's education. We started with BCG for…read morehelp with 10th grade Lit (as a 9th grader). Bonnie, Eric, and Susan asked thoughtful questions about our son to match him with the best tutor available. To say they succeeded would be an understatement. Natalie worked with Trey on his executive functioning skills, patiently showed him different ways of doing things, and supported him until his grades soared and he no longer needed help with Lit. In 10th grade, Geometry and Science challenged him, so we reached out to BCG for help in those subjects. Once again, they exceeded our expectations. Gerald, his Science tutor, teaches the same class in a nearby county and presents information differently than my son's teacher, works through several exercises to make sure our son understands the material, and makes suggestions of what he can do to stay on track until his next weekly session. Dan, our son's Geometry tutor, might be an angel in disguise. Thanks to his guidance and explanations, our son excitedly refreshes his Infinite Campus app to see how well he did on quizzes and tests instead of dreading the grades being posted. (Truly, he's excited to check his grades; what teen gets excited about anything other than sleeping in!?) We're incredibly grateful to have found BCG and know that, if our son needs tutoring in other subjects, BCG will find the right tutor who understands how our son learns and help him succeed in his classes.

Ry was more open to telling Janine due dates and what they were working on versus telling me. And, Bonnie -- the founder / owner is also amazing to work with.
