I moved to Atlanta recently and my company offered a rental car for a month. I had a Indian driver licence, but I'm very afraid to drive in Atlanta without knowing the Georgia Road rules and other thing is I'm scared of speed in the highway. I had great experience with Aex's driving school. Alex is an awesome human being with great attitude!! When I came to Atlanta a few months ago from California, I did not know which was the best driving school... I got driving schools from the Google search and called them and believe me when I say the reply I got from the other two driving schools was "Please go on our web site and read the details". Alex's driving school was the one driving school where Alex patiently listened and explained all the details. He is the first person you interact with and he really sets the bar high, he has an awesome sense of customer service and always ready to help and accommodate. I have attempted to get my license twice in California and paid two different driving schools for many hours, but failed each time. Within two hours period Alex taught more than I learned in over 12 hours with other driving schools. He is highly experienced and knows all the tips and tricks. He taught me parallel parking, 3 point parking, and much more in less than an hour. I got it like the back of my hand and my confidence was through the roof. I haven't driven a car before in USA and was always a bit scared of driving on the other side (I am from India). My daughter has had two lessons with Alex, so far. They were both 2 hours long. I was happy he allowed me to tag along, because it allowed me to assess him as an instructor. Wow, I was highly impressed with his teaching style. I would recommend him to anyone! He is very professional and welcoming, He pays keen attention, and points out every detail possible. He gave my daughter information I'd never even thought of. He has plenty of tips and strategies to help the driver remember how to "safely" navigate the road. I particularly appreciate that he wants the student to talk to him during the lesson, so he will know that they understand what he's saying, and that they know what they need to do at every turn (step). I have completed behind the wheel classes with Alex today. Honestly I was very afraid with zero confidence in driving. When I sit on the driving seat I always feel very anxious. Same happened on the first day I still remember. While starting of the class, first Alex made sure i feel good, not to think too much and he made me feel at ease. When I do a mistake in driving, the way Alex explained what are the consequences if I do like this, really made sense to correct my mistake in driving. Alex is a lovely, patient guy and an excellent teacher. I booked a total of six sessions with him, and just passed my driving test today. I'd had virtually no experience driving prior to working with him. By the end of our time together, I felt so confident and at ease behind the wheel. He's great about asking you what you want to work on (he does do an overview of everything, suburban/highway driving, parallel parking, etc.) which I really liked, because I could set my own pace. And all the while you're driving, he gently peppers you with questions about the road signs, local traffic regulations, etc. so you're really learning quite a bit as you go. After 3 years of not driving on the highway, Alex gave me the confidence to get back on the highway. The first time we drove together, I had very low expectations of what I'd be able to accomplish. Within minutes, we were on 400, driving a route I hadn't driven on in years. I was completely blown away with how well I was able to drive. Alex is patient, professional, and informative. He'll make sure you're aware of minute details like how far you should stop behind each car, what all the signs mean, and and how far the steering wheel should be from your body. Alex was very responsive and flexible with scheduling the lessons. I signed my teenage daughter up for 6 hours of behind the wheel lessons to enhance and reinforce her skills leading up to getting her provisional license at age 16. He was happy to provide specific instruction in areas we requested to make sure she would be ready for the road test portion of the Driving exam. Alex took the time to speak with me (her mother) before and after each lesson to let me know what he had planned for that session and to let me know what areas she needed more practice or reminders. Alex is the best instructor you will find. You're not going to learn how to pass a road test only, you will actually learn how to drive. While driving he teaches you about the laws, referring to what you are supposed to know based on the knowledge exam that you took. I came from another country with a lot of cultural differences when it comes to driving, and he took all of that in consideration when advising me what to do.
