I reported them to the state for child neglect and filed a police report with Chandler PD. I have still not received a refund. When we followed up on 4/25, we were told we have to continue to wait for the new franchise owner, Andrew Sheridan, or district leader, Kellie Rexrode, to follow up with us before a refund is issued. They put my infant in danger and are now putting me in a tough financial position. We'd been customers since 2022; I trusted them and am now absolutely heartbroken. I no longer have a choice and have to start going public.

I found Student Tutor about 6 years ago when my daughter was struggling to get through the 8th grade. With her tutor helping her twice weekly, we watched my daughters grade go higher along with her confidence level. We continued to use them throughout her High School years and watched her graduate with her class. Student Tutor made our lives easier and took the unnecessary stress off our daughter so she could enjoy her High School experience. As for today, my 13 year old son has started the 7th grade and we have a wonderful student tutor helping him with his weekly assignments. Whether he has homework or not, I love that his tutor continues to work with him on his organizational skills. She will spend the entire session doing homework review, she will help him empty and organize his backpack, and while doing that, low and behold, she seems to find assignments that he would have missed otherwise. His confidence is through the roof and he is currently pulling A's and B's with the occasional C grade. He is loving school now. My son missed school on Monday and came home Tuesday overwhelmed with an immense amount of homework. I called Jesse at 5:30pm. He was able to have a tutor come over that same evening at 7:45pm to help my son with his 7 assignments that were due the next day. She stayed until all of his homework was complete. My 9th grade son started with My Student Tutor about a month ago, and to say it has been a positive experience would be a profound understatement. His tutor, from the moment he met my son, has made an above and beyond effort to connect with our son and get to know him and exactly what he needs. It is obvious that the tutor's commitment to really being an advocate for his students and helping them to grow wings for themselves is a top priority. His content knowledge and study tips are impressive and helps to get my son over the hump when he is feeling unsure about his material. My son is a good student who struggles to really engage in his learning in a way that leads to full understanding and mastery. My daughter missed a lot of school due to a soccer injury and seemed to have particular trouble with test taking strategies. She had a few C's for the first time ever. I was impressed with our tutor and the online tools available and have particularly enjoyed the milestone check-ins and lack of pressure when we wanted to take a hiatus (she now has all A's but you know how high school is). What really helped beyond 'someone relatable who's not my parent' giving you good advice (and they had some new goodies) was that Ari never missed an appointment and really became an accountability partner for our daughter (so we didn't have to hound her about how much she still had left to do, etc.) A lot of it was breaking down a huge hurdle into manageable pieces and working it through diligently and logically - a life skill to be sure. I am totally impressed and asked them to hold my deposit so we can 'press play' quickly when needed next. Can't say enough good things. read more

We were so pleased with the immediate impact Student-tutor had with our son. We signed him up while in 7th grade for math help. Our tutor, Nathan, immediately connected with our son and had him interacting and asking questions and looking forward to the twice weekly sessions I set up(in our home). His grade was at 69% when we signed him up, it immediately improved to 88%. We were fortunate that our same tutor was available this year when school started and he not only tutored him in math again but in all other subjects and provided study skills, too. The only reason we are not continuing with this great and affordable service is that we are moving out of state during the Holiday break. We started using Student-Tutor mid-year through our daughter's sophomore school year when she was failing math and falling behind in her other subjects. The tutor that was assigned to our daughter was very accommodating with her schedule and helped her get organized while improving her grades to a 'B' versus failing over the next year and a half while teaching her to use an activity planner to help her stay organized and on top of her homework and assignments. I knew I didn't want to do Kumon because he already had so much regular homework that more at-home work would be impossible. I was impressed from the very start. We went in for a free assessment and free first two sessions (we had a Groupon). Suchita (the owner) was SO nice! She did a thorough assessment, even breaking it into two assessment sessions. She was able to provide a detailed report showing which concepts he understood and which concepts he did not quite have. Suchita created a personalized plan that targeted those weak areas. What I truly appreciated was that she never gave me a hard sell (unlike a lot of tutoring places). She suggested different options, but didn't press a long-term commitment or more expensive options. One of the best things about Mathnasium is that you don't have pre-scheduled times (you don't have to call to cancel or reschedule or race to get there by a certain time)! Since I work and my kids have after school activities, that flexibility was a HUGE bonus! The tutors were all excellent and friendly. My son didn't have a bad experience with any of them and he really liked talking with them because they were "nice and patient." The kids are given stamps for completing worksheets, which they can trade in for prizes, including gift cards. This was highly motivating for my son. After one month, my son's grades on his math tests had improved an entire grade and he definitely felt more confident in his math abilities. I would highly recommend Mathnasium of Gilbert!

We love this school and the teachers! We enrolled our daughter late into preschool back in January…read more In just a couple months time she is free hand writing her name, spelling out and writing different words, and doing actual counting of numbers. She was in a different school prior to this one and would cry every time we dropped her off. At Kinder Academy, she looks forward to going to class and talks about how much she loves her teacher every day. They do super fun activities for the kids, host a once a month "parents night out", have fun little parties, and do so much more engaging things for the kids. I can't say enough great things about this school and I'm so happy we found a place she's happy at.
