My daughter is starting her 9th year at Studio 109, and her 3rd year on the studio's Performance Troupe. I love everything about this Studio! They are dedicated to your dancer and really are a second family. If you are someone who values commitment along with discipline, teamwork and community, then this Studio is the one for you! They give back and support the community in so many ways... from parades and tree lighting ceremonies to raising money for breast cancer, and collecting for the local food pantry, to name a few. Last year at my daughter's Christmas band and chorus concert at school, I observed the students looking up, looking down, fidgeting, etc. While performing. (I know kids get nervous). My daughter was looking at the audience and very comfortable being on stage. That's 8 years of dance. That's a performer. That's confidence. I rather die then go here! If you want your kid to be hated and told that they aren't good enough everyday by this studio then go ahead but I wouldn't bother..... MANDY the biggest bitch of them all. YOU WILL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER! OH! My favorite part is that if you don't show up to dance they charge u double the fee and you have to clean the studio for 8 hours a punishment but you know having to work to pay the studio fee isn't good enough for them! OH NO THERES MORE! Every heard of making you pears tell you that they hated you as a order by the director oh yes! Talk about being bullied! OH THAT CANT BE ALLL...... but there's more ! Being pushed to your limit and getting physically hurt ! My daughter has been dancing at Studio 109 for 7 years now. We absolutely love it there. We had been at another studio in the past and moved to Studio 109 and haven't regretted one minute of it. My daughter will most likely never be a professional dancer, but what she has learned at the studio, beyond dance technique, far surpasses anything I could have hoped for. She has learned dedication, compassion, perseverance, team work, not to give up even when you feel like you can't go on. She has learned that hard work pays off. She has learned confidence. I could go on and on. The cost is competitive with other studios and the instruction is top notch. Studio 109 also give back to the community in amazing ways. I left reviews on other websites and then headed over here and am a bit miffed by the reviews. Sure, no place is perfect! However, not being a dancer myself I didnt know what to expect when my daughter joined. She was three at the time and we initially chose Studio 109 over many other local options because of their wide range of classes and flexible schedule. My little one is now in her third year there and loves being part of the Studio 109 family! Even though it's a large dance studio, the staff and instructors have gotten to know her and are always down for one of her stories or hugs. Furthermore, it's jam-packed with wonderful role models for my daughter... many older girls who are never too busy to chat with a little dancer! Another year on the books at Studio109 and I am still just as happy as I was the day we signed up. I need structure and organization. I was able to do an adult class this past year. It had been 25 years since I had danced it took a bit for my 41 year old mom brain to click again. But it eventually came back. Mandy the owner was AMAZING, from conditioning and teaching all of us who were on various different levels of dance from never before to experienced. We love Studio 109. My family has a long history with them. I used to dance and sing there when I was younger. Now my daughter dances there and loves it! She has also taken part in their drama classes. She has made life long friends through this dance studio. The staff has always been such a pleasure to deal with. I just signed my 3 year old daughter up for her first year of dance. I was skeptical at first and wasn't sure if it was something we'd actually do. After visiting the open house here Stephanie had me SOLD. My daughter was running around, watching the dancers and instantly loved it and didn't want to leave!
