I've never had a facial done before so Mindy kindly explained the process to me before she started the treatment. My favorite part was definitely the hot & cold stones. I went into lobby, lady asked me to pay first before my appointment. Sign said $60 for an hour and $30 for 30 mins. When I handed her my card she said something $60 plus xyz. So I asked her plus what? Several times I couldn't understand and I kept reiterating I just wanted an hour massage. Well come to understand she said it's $30 tips mandatory! I said WHAT? Mandatory? She said yes. I should've walked out because that is unheard of! A tip is what I feel like giving AFTER the service! And 50% tip ? Even with an excellent job, no one ever received a 50% tip! My back was in so much pain and they were the only place opened on a Sunday. So I had my massage. First, at 12:30 she opened the door and just pointed y to let me know to go in. Never said anything else so I sat there for 5 mins when she came back to tell me to go ahead undress & get on table. Five minutes into our session, door flew open and she was speaking loudly to coworkers. That happened 2 more times. It was quite annoying when you are trying to relax. At one point she got up and left for 5 minutes. It was mediocre. Nothing special. We stopped exactly at 1:30. So I didn't even get a full "60 minutes ". Don't go here. I won't be going back! For the 30 minutes session $30, she said it is $20 "mandatory tips" so you are looking at $50 for 30 minutes and $90 for 60 minutes! Scam!

I don't think the lady I got, is actually trained to do massage. I originally was hoping for an hour massage. After 15 minutes in, I told the lady to cut my massage short. I couldn't fathom spending $70 for a full hour. As it was $40 for 20 minutes was too much. 10 minutes was spent translating through an app on the phone. When paying, I gave a $50 bill, with no intention of leaving a tip. When I asked to get $10 back, she only brought me $5 and told me the other $5 is tip. The massage was HORRIBLE. A tip should not be expected for attempting to make an effort. Believe me, if the massage was amazing I would have gladly tip an extra $20, but I'm not a fan of tipping when the service is not there. Huge waste of my time and money.

Initially I was a little hesitant to book with someone with very few reviews. Especially seeing as…read morethey would be coming out to our secluded Airbnb location, but after talking with Jenia, she made me feel confident to book three separate appointments for the people traveling in our party. Jenia maintained COVID protocols (masking up and sanitizing, and changing blankets/sheets in between each of us). The Reiki experience was fascinating. Each of us had prior experiences with various massage techniques, but never had we encountered the Reiki combination. I personally could feel the heat radiating from her hands through me. My pain points, caused by a herniated disc, misaligned hips, and hunched shoulders were all targeted with precision accuracy. At the end of the session Jenia showed us each valuable take-aways of yoga postures and self-massage to help us continue our journey of healing far after our sessions concluded. The tension in my neck and shoulders were completely released and I felt like she took me from feeling like a no-neck platypus to a graceful long-neck swan. It was an enriching experience and I will definitely book with her again should my travels take me into the area.
