It looks rough on the outside, but there are great desks, everything is clean and it's a great bunch of people there. Best of all was the amazing lighting with the huge windows. It can be a little loud at times with the windows next to Mission st., but nothing that disturbed my zoom calls. I had one of the open desks and left my equipment there overnight the full time.

That said, the experience with their corporate office is another story, as I had just called to ask why I still haven't received a refund for November's rent + deposit after ending my lease in October, and it's now December 12th. The woman on the phone was very dismissive and basically didn't want to help at all. Instead, she said that anything that had to do with my lease and/or refund should be discussed with the manager. I tried to explain that I had already spoken to the manager a few times and all he could do is let me know that he would contact billing. Her response was the same: dismissive tone and attitude that made me realize this call with her was pointless. Perhaps it's good that I'm canceling my lease with ready spaces because this isn't the kind of company that I want to work with.

He's always quick to respond by email and he's nice to speak with in person. He's warm, friendly, and caring. He's also open to feedback on how this location can be better, which I appreciate a lot. I try not to bother him though, unless it's really necessary. The facility is clean indoors and outdoors. The common lounge area is actually a good size, and the restrooms are clean. This place is very well maintained. I like that there's WIFI here and it works perfectly now. I'm impressed that it's pretty techy considering it's a mixed used space predominantly for storage. There's even a nice conference room that is available for use for tenants. I enter the main doors using a touch pad and my phone as the key and my office has a keypad for entry. I love it! I look forward to continuing my business with ReadySpaces! ----- June 2022 Be aware that they charge $3.30 per square foot for office units but the "approximate" sizes that they go by are way off. My office space is supposed to be 205 sf as posted on their wall and advertised when they give you handouts of this same blueprint for tours they will tell you 205 sf. Well, that promised office space is actually 154 sf at still $3.30 per sf. You're paying for 51 sf that doesn't exist. The middle unit is advertised as 175 sf but is measured at 157, so bigger than the 205 sf unit, and still cheaper at the $3.30 price. I'm supposed to be moving in by now also but that office still isn't done. Our warehouse unit is 7 feet less but we didn't fight it as the variance is more tolerable. Every level you contact will keep throwing around that it's "approximate" and it's by per unit not per square feet after you bring it to their attention, which is misleading and false advertising. At our tour, we were NEVER told it's per unit. We were given the square unit price. If customer service were better, there were better communication, an attempt to show some care and concern for their tenants, I would be less frustrated and upset about it. They asked for my feedback, I provided, and I still feel dismissed. They don't address the issue of the pricing and sizes of the two offices either. In doing the math, it shows you're being charged for square footage you're not getting. And "approximate" to them is used very loosely.

The space is gorgeous. The staff also does a good job of coordinating events on a daily basis. There are walks, community lunches, coffee breaks, etc for the people working during the day. In the evenings, there are many other interesting events, game nights and workshops where they often invite experts, leadership coaches, comedians, innovators and visionaries to present and educate. I'm really glad I found this social club. I really benefitted from this community!

Also, be prepared to have a lot of pets with no leash, and the onsite manager "checking in with you" throughout the day. If you're looking to be social and don't mind the lack of noise policy, this is the place - but maybe not if you're trying to get work done. I started on an intro plan allowing me about one visit per week, at a good rate. However, it jumped 25% after just three months - with no warning. The office claims they notified everyone, but I have no email. Nor did I receive the "second" email they sent as proof. I also had multiple access issue, with no help from onsite staff. (Ironically, they always cared what I was doing for lunch.) Jermaine was always available by email to assist - but having no issues at all would have been nice. I've since cancelled my membership for other reasons, but glad I did because that's when I caught the sneaky rent increase. They do respond to emails quickly - but I think its because they don't read them fully.

I have explored many shared office places in SF and most say this one is very unique…read more The ambiance is homey and artsy unlike other more sterile and modern co-working spaces. I enjoyed the fact that not everyone is glued to their computer doing programming or startup stuff. They host many different talents from fashion designers and freelancers to non profits organizations. People are friendly and approachable. Some can be a little to chatty and interrupt too often, but a cordial "let's catch later" will usually suffice. Pros: affordable, clean, approachable owner, safe, and a bit eccentric space. Cons: no parking, not super close to Bart (not a pleasant walk to Bart as it doesn't feel super safe), can be a bit loud depending on where your work space is, and does not offer much more than just the working space (no snacks! Haha).
