The spaces they have are nice, other tenants are cool, and the Industrious staff is the best part about the community here. Even though I wasn't able to make it on the originally scheduled day, Teddy went above and beyond and came in on a day when the space was already booked for an event and very busy. He helped me get everything done quickly and efficiently. This was also around the holidays, so I'm especially grateful for the extra effort. NEON is a co-working space, but it has such a friendly, down-to-earth vibe. I really appreciate their flexible pricing model. You can pay for a day pass ($25) or by the hour ($5), which makes it affordable without feeling locked into a subscription you have to constantly justify. I'll definitely be coming back to do work here more often, meet people, and enjoy the amenities. There's even an outdoor space, which is a great bonus. I luckily live walking distance so it's easy for me to get to. They charge $5 an hour for Wifi (or $25 a day), which I think is totally reasonable since there is unlimited coffee included, and I'd probably pay that or more at a coffee shop anyway. They have tons of outlets, and even offer chargers, mouse, keyboard, monitors if needed. If you are here during lunch time, there is a ton of great restaurants nearby to eat at or pick up food to eat while you work. I have a dog, and it's nice that they are super dog friendly! They even have an outdoor space in the back, but I typically sit inside with my dog. I am so happy that a place like Neon exists!!

And the rental rate for the various offices is very competitively priced. I'm really pleased with Carr and my new office space. In addition, the staff is phenomenal. Eric Williams, the Managing Director, and Marissa Dhillon, the Client Account Director, are both incredibly helpful and friendly. I feel like they are supportive of my business, and they make it a pleasure to come into the office every day.

Since I no longer have any friends who can afford to live in SF (lol), I have been booking WeWork…read moredesks when I'm working virtually on days where I have something I want to go to in the evening (e.g. Awesome Orchestra performances/reading sessions, concerts...). That way, I can BART my way in and avoid the hassle of driving to SF and finding/paying for parking + potentially getting Cordelia's (my car) windows smashed. This location is super convenient--less than a 10 minute walk from the Montgomery BART station and right by Chinatown (less than 0.5 miles from a couple superrrr affordable dim sum places). The staff is friendly and very helpful. When my app was being dumb and not letting me online, they helped me to troubleshoot/fixed stuff up for me. The workspaces are very pleasant and clutter-free. There are phone rooms available that are actual rooms (vs a tinybooth as with another location) if you need to make calls/talk. There are a variety of free teas (mint, chai, earl grey, Jasmine green, roasted matcha, breakfast...) and a couple different types of coffee available (diff milks available in the fridge). I happened to be here on a day where they had a "brown paper bag nostalgia" event where you could pack a little bag with snacks (Oreos, chips ahoy, fruit snacks, microwave popcorn, lollipops, caprisun) and a "Teacher's Pet" drink (ginger ale, apple cider, and a little spiced rum with fresh lime). (For the record, I typically don't drink any alcohol since I can always taste the alcohol and hate the taste, but this was super tasty!! He went light on the alcohol though so several people went to the front desk to get an extra shot of alcohol added to theirs.) P.S. Floor to ceiling bathrooms should be a thing everywhere (they are here!).
