    Came in for an appointment on Saturday 5/1/21 that I had booked a week prior. I wanted color, trim,…read moreand a silk out. She didn't have the color so we rescheduled for Thursday at 4.... Fast forward to Thursday 5/6/21.... I took PTO and drove an hr to get there b/c I don't live in Kokomo (and I can't find any good stylists in my area), but I heard good reviews about this place and I heard her rave about how she does natural hair, so I wanted to try Tiffany out. WELL, not only did she not show up until an entire HOUR later to my scheduled appointment (mind you, I said I took PTO for this, so for that, my "appointment" could've just been scheduled for 5 and I could've saved my PTO), when she came in, she had an a attitude from hell!! When I finally sat in her chair, she began slightly picking my very 4C hair out. She then asked if I was tender headed and I said yes, but I deal with it. Her response (with an attitude) was "Aw naw, well you're gonna have to do this yourself then!" as she proceeded to hand me the pick. I reiterated that it's no biggie, I'm used to it and I just deal with it. I could tell that she really didn't want to do my hair by her extremely stank attitude she had towards me. She barely proceeded to pick my hair out some more (as she complained about my hair the whole time) and it wasn't 2 full minutes later when she blurted out with the ugliest attitude " I AM NOT DOING THIS!!! I REFUSE TO DO THIS! THIS IS GONNA TAKE ME HOURS TO COMB OUT! I'M NOT DOING IT! YOU CAN EITHER DO IT YOURSELF OR WE CAN CANCEL THIS APPOINTMENT!!" Bewildered, I said umm... ma'am.... you knew I had this 4C fro on Saturday when I came in and you told me to reschedule. You said you do natural hair and why would I help you do my hair when I'm PAYING YOU to do it?! I took time off of work and drove an hour to get here and you showed up an hour late! This is for my GRADUATION tomorrow!! Tiffany went on to tell me that it didn't matter that she was an hour late, that all her other clients usually show up with their hair detangled (mind you, I was a new client, I was getting color and a silk out, and nowhere in her description did it ever say to detangle before you come), and that my only two options were to comb it out myself while she finishes all her other clients, or cancel the appointment because she absolutely REFUSES to do it. She gave no cares in the world how far I drove to get to her or that I took time off work for this, OR that it was for my freaking GRADUATION!!! I told her to give me 5 minutes so I could figure out what I was gonna do. Before I could even give her an answer, she had already cancelled me out. The fact of the matter is, she already didn't wanna do my hair from the start. I honestly feel discriminated against from a hair standpoint. She bragged about being old school and only doing natural hair when I first met her, but she never said she didn't do 4C natural hair. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE been to a professional stylist that didn't know how to properly combs and style my hair. I guess my hair was too "nappy" for her. People like her definitely push the agenda of "good hair, bad hair". Honestly, it's no different that certain segments of white America pushing their straight hair agenda on us. She is no better! Sadly, this ruined my graduation day and I looked a hot mess for one of the biggest days of my life. This was and is EXTREMELY heartbreaking to me, as this was something I was greatly looking forward to for my big day and there was no one else who could get me in last minute to do everything I needed done. The fact that she didn't even have the decency to say least honor my TIME is beyond me! She didn't even try!! This is absolutely pathetic and diabolical at best! It sounds like something from a movie! The crazy thing is, I went over to Summit Salon and they were able to detangle my hair just fine without complaint. Mind you, these are STUDENTS and they're not even trained on textured hair at all, yet they got it. However, the "PROFESSIONAL" couldn't seem to do it, didn't care and didn't even try smh. Tiffany is rude, trifling, ghetto, unprofessional, inconsiderate and legit has an attitude from Satan himself! NO CLIENT DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT! EVER!! I wish I could give -5 stars! -5/10, I DON'T recommend! Needless to say, I will NEVER be back and I certainly hope karma comes back to bite her where it hurts most!!

    I would not recommend this salon for mesh integration systems or other high-cost, technical hair…read moreservices. I spent several thousand dollars on a mesh integration/topper and extensions after relying entirely on professional guidance. The system was installed incorrectly, and once the initial styling settled, the placement issues were clear. I returned in person specifically to have the installation corrected. Instead of fixing the issues, I was told I would need to wait approximately 8 weeks until my next scheduled visit for a reinstall. For a service of this complexity and cost, being asked to live with an improperly installed system for weeks is unacceptable. The topper color also failed quickly. Within about three weeks, it faded back toward a lighter/blonde tone and no longer matched my brown hair. This is an integrated system worn with natural hair, and color compatibility is a basic functional requirement. I was sold this based on color and texture pattern matching, which was not represented honestly or transparently, as the hair is heavily pre-processed and does not hold color that is dyed at the salon. There were also billing transparency issues. I later discovered--only after requesting an itemized receipt--that I had been charged for extension hair that was never installed or physically provided to me. Despite raising this issue, I was never refunded for the incorrect billing. Overall, this experience showed a lack of technical expertise, inadequate quality control, and poor transparency for a service that requires precision and experience. If you are considering a mesh integration or similar system, I strongly recommend seeking out a salon in a major hub (such as Chicago) with extensive, specialized experience in these systems. This is not a service that should be handled without proven expertise. Do not get mesh integration at this salon.

At the time she said a few may fall out, to date I have lost at least 70; they keep falling out. I may have lost more that I am unaware of but I have in a sandwich bags the ones I have found. As a previous cosmetologist, I am aware of how to properly take care of hair. I've also done my research and have done everything that is necessary for having extensions including but not limited to: using specific type of brush made for hair extensions, brushing hair w/care which is different when wearing extensions, waiting the recommended 48 hours before washing hair, washing hair 1 - 2 times per week, wearing a shower cap in between, using cold air to dry extensions and making sure they are thoroughly dry, using recommended professional hair products, using a silk pillow case, putting hair up while sleeping so the extensions do not get tangled; these instructions among others have been obtained by Dawn, professional knowledge and research. Dawn ordered the extensions but kept making excuses as to not being able to put them until a month later. She put the extensions in which took her around 9 hours. Since they have been falling out, Dawn has made several excuses as to why she could not resolve the issue by putting them back in. She even suggested I buy new hair and take off work for her to fix it. She ignores some of the phone calls and texts. When and if she replies it can take days to hear from her. I want a full refund of $2,114. She states she wants to fix my hair, but making excuses and not replying is not resolving the issue. I have tried to ask for resolution instead of a refund because I want them fixed. Since she makes excuses and does not reply, that is why at this point I want a full refund so I can go to a more experienced and knowledgeable hair stylist to put them back in!
