So I'm unfamiliar with how hair styles can affect your choice of coloring, highlighting, etc. Today I went and asked for a balayage, which I have had done before and the results were stunning!! But this time was not the case unfortunately. When I went in, I showed her a picture of what I was looking for. She asked me a series of questions, like how I styled my hair. I told her i'm not much of a stylist, low off to the side ponytail maybe a braid, but most of the time I just blow dry it. The next moment is when I should have just got up and left, but I gave this young girl the benefit of the doubt, which I now regret. She said I dont think we're gunna need a full balayage because you dont put your hair up. So we are only going to do the top half of your hair. Right then I should have left. But I didn't want to be rude to the young lady. I honestly think she is just fresh out of cosmetology school and is still wet behind the ears. I think once she has a couple of years under her apron she'll be better. And listening to what your customer wants is a big deal.

While I was there though I witnessed the OWNER of this salon kick a woman out of her salon in front of all of the other customers and tell her she is 1 of 2 people that will never be allowed in her business. The woman was being quiet and to herself, not speaking any louder than any of the other ladies there and not speaking rudely to any one, so I can't even begin to understand how the OWNER of a customer service based business could be so absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL AND OF SUCH LOW CLASS. I understand that there are times as an owner of a business you have to take matters into your own hands but usually its in a bar with a bunch of 40 yr old adolescent power drinkers but not in a Salon and do it in such an unprofessional and demeaning way, in front of everyone in the store as if to try and belittle this woman for whatever reason,it was absolutely APALLAING and to one of her stylist clients not even one of her own clients.
