Ricky inking my son's first tattoo! !

We have come here for more than one tattoo and this occasion was no exception. I brought my son to see Ricky for his first tattoo and his experience was excellent! Ricky was able to get my son exactly what he wanted and make sure he was good throughout the process. While there, Adrian touched up a cover up he did of Stitch on my chest that was showing through. It now looks absolutely amazing and I love it!! He also did my lucky cricket from Mulan on my ankle in about ten minutes after my Stitch was done! My Disney ink looks fabulous and I'm happy!

Best shop in the area. The shop is always spotless, staff masked. I have worked with Ricky on two tattoos and love them both. Ricky has a light touch and is a true artist and extremely talented. Whether you want black & white or full color you definitely need to go to studio 71.

I have been getting tattooed for over 10 years. My old shop that I got most of my work done closed up and relocated sometime back. Other than the tattoo work itself, one of the main reasons I missed that shop was because it was very welcoming and fun talking to the tattoo crew that manned the shop. In my spare time I'd visit different shops. I came across many talented artists but the shops didn't have the vibe or connection I once had. I visited Studio 71 on my drive home. Right away I loved how the shop was decorated. Guitars on the wall and a rusted car grill and bumper converted into a wall lamp. Complimenting the decor was some traditional trio country music playing in the background, definitely my style. I had the pleasure of meeting Tom and Adrian. Very easy going and welcoming. I told them that I wanted to tattoo my wife's name on me. I described to Adrian how I wanted it drawn and he said he would have some sketches to go over with me on our appointment. Finally a week went by and it was the day of my appointment. Adrian showed me one of the sketches. My wife and I instantly loved it! He walked us over to his work area and I was super impressed with the cleanliness and organization of his station. We all chatted as he worked on me. He was great in communicating the process of the tattoo. On a side note I believe that's a great quality to have for a client getting tattooed for the first time. After the session was over he went over the aftercare of the tattoo and answered questions. Over all I enjoyed the experience and his art. I definitely plan on returning to get more work done. I highly recommend this shop. Studio 71 keep up the great work guys and I look forward to my next session.

Today I got my first tattoo done by Adrian. I contacted Adrian through Instagram and he replied so fast. Definitely made me feel really comfortable getting tattooed by him. I showed up at my appointment time and he already had some fonts printed out which helped a lot. He did amazing explained the products and the procedures and was very clear. The tattoo came out amazing. I'm so happy. Needless to say I will be coming again.

Went here for a Fundraising event for Kitty911. Got 2 tats an infinity symbol and a kitty cat. This shop is very good. They follow all legal and ethical procedure. It's very clean and well maintained. My artist Ricky Gibbs was very caring and will ask how you are doing during the process. Both look really great. Ricky is a new artist he did these simple tats easily. other pieces, I explained that I needed a piece ( a butterfly I have re- inked. I did have that done later at another date. In any case I was impressed with shop and would recommend it to a friend. Update: I have noticed that my lines are not straight on these pieces. The paw print was not filled in darkly enough. I've since had the infinity symbol re inked by a different artist. I would recommend the shop but I couldn't recommend the artist. He may have gotten better since last year at this time.

Fantastic Tattoo Studio 71! Love my new tattoo! I would highly recommend Adrian. He was professional, friendly and did a fantastic job. This studio was clean, decorated well and I had fun visiting with the other customers thru the process. These words are important to me as I'm a Pilates Teacher and share these words everyday with my clients!

I went in yesterday for a small tattoo. Awesome shop!! I walked in and was greeted by Ricky. We talked about what I was looking for. He drew it up as we chatted. This is honestly the best interacting I have EVER had with an artist. He was super down to earth. Never ever seemed annoyed with the tattoo I wanted (I've had this happen before at another shop). Once he drew it up I asked him to make two very small changes with the script. With no hesitation he made the changes. He again chatted during my tattoo so it wasn't just awkward silence. I will for-sure be going to him for another tattoo!!! Love his work and he was just an all around great person to deal with.

This is the fix from Tom. Love it!

This is an incredible way to decorate your home with REAL art that comes to your door. Noa is the…read moreowner and in most cases the designer of the pieces that look best and work in your home and with your style, taste and current decor. She came into my home with dozens of options, hanging canvas's up on my wall where I was able to study them, take a picture and feel the art in the space - then - all of a sudden, I turn around after she has put another two pieces up and WOW that's it. I would have never picked what I picked in any store - but seeing on my wall in MY living room - I knew - it spoke to me, and that was it. The framer came shortly after, framed it perfectly and it's now hanging on my wall. Do you know how many pictures and how much time I would have had to lug in my car and put up each piece only to probably return it and start all over again? Too many hours to count - too many holes in my wall - too many trips to countless stores. Noa is awesome, talented, warm, friendly and honest about what works and what doesn't AND there is no pressure. It's free for her to come and take a test drive of art in your home! Highly recommend!

The paintings she recommended were perfect for each room and what was especially valuable was her suggestions for optimizing the space. We already made a couple of the changes she mentioned and it has really elevated the room! Her style is very personable without feeling like too much of a "sales pitch". Her framer was also punctual and efficient, and available just a couple days after we bought the art. Would definitely recommend Noa's Art to any new home owners looking to create a beautiful space!

I am writing this review to provide a warning to others before they sign up for any of her classes. This woman is dotty/senile at best, and downright dishonest at worst. Based on my one interaction with her, I'm not sure how much of her bad behavior is due to a bad moral character or just senility. A friend saw an article in the local paper regarding this woman's painting classes at Hobby Lobby. We called to get more information, and she told us that we could show up for one class (at $25 per person) and she would provide the supplies we needed at no charge, and if we wanted to continue coming to her classes we would then need to bring our own supplies thereafter. We arrived early for class with our $25 and no supplies. She pointed to her half-used tubes of paint and said she didn't have enough to share with us, then took us out into the store area to purchase some paints. Not finding the colors we needed, she returned us to the classroom and said for an extra $5 she could supply us with paints and boards to paint on. She produced several large tubes of new paint. This was odd, because she previously told us she had very little paint to share. So, senile or dishonest? Hard to say, though I am leaning towards dishonest. Also, why is she changing her mind on charging us for supplies, when she told us on the phone she'd provide them at no additional cost? Another thing: Several other students, who came in after us, needed paints as well. The teacher shared hers with them but did not charge them for it. Why were my friend and I charged $5 each but the other students were not charged at all? Another thing: Both with just myself and my friend prior to class, and again with the room full of students during class, when asking what types and colors of paints to buy, she recommended MANY times that we go to Michael's rather than Hobby Lobby, saying that Michael's had much better prices. I found this fairly unethical since it was Hobby Lobby who was providing her the space, free of charge, to conduct her classes. By the way, the class itself was pretty bad. She handed us a piece of paper with a color wheel on it (printed with a printer that was clearly running out of toner, so the colors on the wheel were pretty drab), but didn't explain a word about how to use it. The instructions she gave during class were unclear, and there was very little demonstration (she painted her own painting in her seat with her painting faced towards her). And she criticized, with a very annoyed tone in her voice, the brush strokes one of the students was using on her background. Just to add icing to the cake, I have to mention her business card that she passed out to everyone. It says "Visit the website gallery" and references a website, www.MAEPetPortaits.com. No, I did not make a typo, the URL on her business card says "portaits" instead of "portraits". www.MAEPetPortaits.com does not exist. www.MAEPetPortraits.com takes you to a GoDaddy website saying that this URL is reserved. So, she reserves a website name but doesn't actually create the website, then passes out business cards touting her custom oil painting and pet portrait services, but is unaware that her URL has a typo in it (never mind that the website, if correctly spelled, doesn't lead one to a "gallery" as stated on her business card). So, hmmmm, now I'm back to thinking the woman is just dotty and senile. Whether she's dotty or dishonest, the bottom line is to stay away from her.
