Both Zack and Elisa heard our likes and dislikes and were able to point us in the right direction. The Joy Bird swivel recliners are exactly what we wanted. The modern rounded chairs swivel left and right but always go back to center position so they're not crooked when empty. And the La-Z-Boy sofa had the comfort and quality we were looking for. Elisa gave me her personal cell phone so I could ask her questions while in the process of measuring my space and checking color selections at home. She was excellent at helping me add some accent pillows and a throw for my solid color sofa. Elisa even FaceTime me at my home to see my space. She offered an in home consultation as well. The team of people from sales, design, finance, scheduling, and delivery were all great! I even got a call from designer Elisa on delivery day asking how I liked my furniture. They really cared all the way through the process. I highly recommend Johnny Janosik Wilmington location for a lovely shopping experience with caring staff and satisfaction!!

    Quality of the furniture is absolutely awful. Like so bad - Had my bedroom set for almost a year at…read morethis point and get upset almost every day because it cost me almost $4k for a bed (without mattress), one dresser, and a nightstand. Absolute rip off. The items I received are a little different from the showroom pieces, but super annoying - ie: the bed has a bench at the foot with drawers inside. Ok these drawers are less than 12" deep, basically useless for actual underbed storage... the bench is about 8" off the bed. Im small... and cannot even perch myself for a minute to put on shoes. Again - making it useless and space wasting. The dresser is bulky and heavy - and when you open the drawers, the overhang isnt sanded AT ALL. So it rips my clothing, and my skin if/when my hands touch that part. The nightstand has a usb outlet that worked poorly for all of a week. Then died completely. The track lighting below it is so minimal that its also useless. Ugh!!!! Its cheap junk that has crazy inflated prices. Terrible buyers remorse with these items. .

We were scheduled for a delivery and received multiple SMS updates showing the drivers' distance and expected arrival time. Despite this, our Ring camera never activated, and neither my husband nor I received a phone call indicating that the delivery team had arrived. When my husband attempted to call the number provided for "Jose," who had been texting delivery updates, there was no answer. Shortly afterward, we were informed that our delivery would need to be rescheduled--seven days out--with no refund for the delivery fee, despite the failed attempt being no fault of ours. After speaking with three different managers, the customer service we received was consistently poor. We were offered only a $100 credit instead of the full refund we requested for the delivery charge. In researching further, I've now learned that this type of unprofessional behavior is unfortunately common for Bob's Discount Furniture. Needless to say, we will not be returning as customers. We can only hope the furniture quality is better than the service we have received so far. If you value reliability and professionalism, I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere--Raymour & Flanigan or Ashley would have been the better choice in hindsight. Stay away from this business! Update: No delivery attempt based upon review of the home security system camera!
