When I walked in the door, everything about this place resonated with me. I love the aroma of incense, the super cool floor, being barefoot, great merchandise, the zen gardens, the low lights throughout the place, the earth toned colors everywhere. I really enjoyed the meditation and the instructor. There were so many options to to choose from to make my own experience inviting and comfortable; from the woven blankets, firm meditation pillows, super cool (lean back) meditation chairs to regular puffy sitting chairs with arm rests. There was no right or wrong, no judging. My instructor dude was super cool (brown, curly hair - sorry don't remember his name) and the crystal bowl was uh-mazing! CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. ITS FANTASTIC! I would say there's only 2 things they need to improve on #1) When I arrived, the lights were off, no one was inside. I was getting ready to leave a guy came in and said there's probably staff in the back doing classes. He said they unlock the doors at class time. If it wasn't for that guy, I would've left and thought maybe I had the wrong day/time and my 45 minute drive was a waste. #2) Their website and voicemail: I found their website a bit overwhelming, too much/not enough info, etc. I am the type of person who likes to speak with a live person (not voicemail) and reserve a service with a live person (not online). So trying to figure out the difference between the services they offer AND the difference between instructors, I found myself in a wormhole going from page to page and back again AND then finding a time that works... ugh just as painful as doing my taxes. Surprisingly, I stumbled upon this free meditation night. So maybe it was meant to happen this way. Either way, now that I've been there....I am signing up for many more classes and events. I am so loyal to The Studio. I love it here and will tell anyone who will listen how special it is. As I've said before, on vibes alone, this is indisputably the most beautiful studio in Northeast Ohio. They infuse personality into their space through an amazing crystals selection, endless Buddhas and Ganeshas and beautiful colors. It means a lot to me to practice in a space that has warm and inviting energy. Practicing yoga in cold and impersonal places doesn't work for me. It is also VERY hard to find Yin classes around Northeast Ohio. What is up with that?! The Studio has a Yin class *almost* every night, which I am so grateful for. Advanced hot power vinyasa is just NOT my thing and you don't have to practice that type of yoga here if you don't want to. Yin yoga is a slower, stretching based yoga about mind-body connection. Jen and Shannon have been both incredible teachers to practice Yin with. I was fearful of yoga for a long time and Jen truly has helped me in a way I cannot describe. I absolutely love that they are on ClassPass. I have physical limitations and go through ebbs and flows of when I am able to workout versus when I cannot. Because they are on ClassPass I am able to attend when I can. Overall, I cannot recommend The Studio enough to anyone brand new to yoga or looking for classes that aren't terrifying. read more

Attended a yoga session while attending an event hosted by Wounded Warrior Project. The staff were very welcoming and very informative which was amazing considering almost all of us were novices when it came to yoga. We were all in much need of relaxation and some stretching and everyone got what they needed. Some of us were so relaxed they fell asleep during the final minutes during their reflection period. Sara, the instructor, is super friendly and knowledgeable and helpful when learning silks. They offer ugh a variety of classes including silks, Lyra, yoga, and so much more. The studio is one of my favorite places for my very niche style workouts. I absolutely love the aerial silks and aerial hammock classes. The instructors for each are so skilled, knowledgeable, and able to really break down all the moves so that anyone at any level can walk out of the class feeling very accomplished. The Studio really has a community feel to it, by offering tea, books to read, and a couch to chill on, and in my opinion, that makes for a high quality studio. The massage therapist was 40 minutes late before I decided to ask for a refund. At 15 minutes late, I asked if there was a problem and the woman at the front desk barely apologized and said he would be done really soon. When I asked for a refund there was no apology or offer to compensate me for walking there and wasting my time in the middle of my work day. Also, the woman at the front desk ignored a really loud bee buzzing around in the waiting room. I said something about it and she said, "Yea, it's just a bee." Eventually, another woman came, noticed it and helped the bee get back outside. Update: The original front desk woman called and was really nice and not defensive or grumbly towards me at all. Explained she was just newer and didn't know the protocol. Much appreciated to be validated about feeling put out. =) The sauna was private with direct access to a private shower too. It was a comfortable temperature so I was able to stay for 35 minutes and sweat a bunch without feeling overwhelmed. Super relaxing. Front desk woman also gave me a free bottle of water. There was a sign on the table that said the shower temp was reversed on the shower but I missed it and put my clothes over it. So I thought they had no hot water and took an absolutely freezing shower. Hey, at least it was more healthy after a sauna! They were out of body wash but I really just wanted to rinse off anyway and the shampoo and conditioner was really great quality. The massage was great, overall it was a very relaxing experience. read more

I've been going here somewhat inconsistently for years for yoga and massage. While I had some hesitation about going during COVID, I badly needed some self-care. So I scheduled a massage for my 32nd birthday, and boy was I glad I did because that morning I got dumped. Coincidence or intuition? I also signed up for Reiki on a whim and really enjoyed it/got a lot of it -- so much so that i've been back a few more times. The one-on-one support has been top notch and I love how close they're located to my apartment. I feel safe coming in during Covid; know that I'm in good, trusting hands; and that there's a community of staff who genuinely care about my well-being and want to see me make positive progress with energy and chakra work. Everyone is so sweet and supportive! I look forward to hopefully integrating some aerial silk classes into my schedule this spring. read more

I went for a drop-in class with Serena and I was the only student, which someones feels awkward but it didn't! We did lunchtime yin and I felt fully restored after. The Studio is one helluva studio. It's like a little maze. Very clean, and it seems like the Buddha himself had a hand in the decorum. I can say the music was fantastic. None of that yoga girl tear jerking crap that some instructors seem to gravitate to. Nothing is worse than some hi, low planks listening to Journey or Florence and the Machines. The 4pm Saturday class was 1.5 hour with Thai massage. The Thai massage part was amazing.,not happy ending amazing, but really a form of deep stretching that Kevin seemed to have a knack for. It seems that it can really help one take there flexibility to a new level Liz was very hands on and seemed to know when to step in and adjust. I like this place. This is another place I will be sure to visit on the weekends as my job has no classes scheduled on Fri, and Sat. The only con I can really think of is,15$ seems a bit high for a drop in for the 216. I guess the location is kind of prime. This would really make a great date place, take the damsel to the West Side Market, buy some grub, hit The Studio, go back to one's place of residence, cook food, and then take advantage of new found zen flexibility. :) Just saying. read more

I came here on s Saturday for an event I found on Yelp. This place was holding a Cat on the Mat yoga to help the Euclid Beach Cat Project. They help service cats in the area who are neglected abused or abandoned. This even you could apply to adopt or foster a cat. They were all so precious! I enjoyed the event very much and hope to attend another one in the future. The yoga studio is beautiful in itself. They also offer massages. There is a dressing room in the back where you can change or take a shower! Yes there are showering facilities. Coed though. There are cubby holes to hold your belongings. You leave your shoes at the front where the store is. There are many items to purchase. The yoga room is beautiful I wish I got s picture of the inside. Nice hardwood floors and great lighting. It is a room with high ceilings so it can be loud. I hope to return and purshase a yoga package. The place is beautiful and located on 10th street downtown. It took me awhile to find the road. It's a one way street and found myself going up it rather than down! How do I get up there??!! I had to backtrack and eventually I found it. It's a sharp turn from Detroit Avenue. No wonder I missed it. Driving downtown gives me anxiety too much anxiety! They staff is wonderful and welcoming. I would recommend this place. read more

Working a laborious job, and always being on the good, finding ways to rest, relax, and recover is essential for me. That's why I always look for yoga classes in the Cleveland area. I've been to a couple, but there's something different about the energy in The Studio Cleveland that just feels familiar - like my soul's been here before. I'm writing this review specifically for the instructor Becca. She was AMAZING. Her music perfectly matched the flow of the class; her voice fluctuating with it, as she spoke in poetry and affirmed us with words that instilled confidence in us. She went around the room making small improvements in our poses, which I found very helpful, and her use of different smells added to the experience. Her ability to create a safe space and allow you to relax and connect with yourself was truly a gift. Book a class with Becca, and you'll get everything you're looking for in a yoga class and more. The studio space was really really nice and conveniently located. Scheduling was easy with the mind body app, and the one month free new student pass was helpful in finally getting me in the door to try a class. The instructor (Lola) was really awesome. Initially I was slightly intimidated as it was my first actual in person yoga class, but she created a very welcoming and comfortable, calming space, complete with dope music, dim lighting, and a focus on centering the self and focusing on gratitude. It definitely put me at ease and was the reset I needed to get through some things. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend to friends. read more

I replied to their text follow up system but no one contacted me so I'm posting here. Totally underwhelming and disappointing massage. I called and checked that the therapist listed online was available for a same day appointment and specifically made sure they were recommended for a deep tissue massage, which I was told yes. I arrived and the receptionist who was NOT wearing a mask gave me weird snarky vibes about completing my paperwork quickly. My therapist was very nice, but I spent the whole massage wondering what exactly was going on with their technique. They would often just graze over a muscle area once and then move on, and didn't seem to understand anatomy or pay attention to tight spots that you want a good therapist to find and work on. They started on my feet first too, which I love a good foot massage don't get my wrong (not that this was that good), but then I had hands massaging the rest of my body that had been all over my feet first. The therapist very obviously kept checking their Apple Watch and there were a lot of pauses and disconnected movements during the massage. Definitely not worth over $100 including tip for an hour. read more
