The seats are comfortable. We went with friends to see a comedy show last night. We didn't know it, but it turned out to be a fundraiser for the Rotary Club. There was a bunch of unexpected Rotary Club fol de rol, including the entire audience standing to recite the pledge of allegiance. The comedians were uneven. We have seen one other show there, the excellent Gary Gulman. The schedule seems to feature tribute bands and musical genres of the past 50 years. I assume this reflects the preferences of the board and the exigencies of booking a relatively small venue. Happy to support this local institution when they host something we're interested in.

After the reception, I went to pick up the items the next day at the site and they had been left out in the rain. There were several items locked inside the office so I could not retrieve for 3 days. When I did retrieve my items, I discovered they had THROWN OUT my wedding Bouquet, and a WEDDING PRESENT!! When I contacted them about the missing items, and poor service, they were Rude and Arrogant to me about any apologies or reimbursements. ***In advance of the event, my husband contacted them to ask how much we needed to tip their staff, and were told that we DID NOT NEED TO TIP STAFF!! The staff advised me they were paid $25/hour period with ZERO ADDITIONAL TIPS. We were charged $95 per person @100 people, so where did the additional money go? Apparently to the owners and not the staff!!!*** When we did our trial event, they used gorgeous service plates that showed off the food. When we had our actual wedding reception, they used small ordinary white plates that looked terrible for the food. I would never use them nor recommend them to anyone.

What made it just a little more special is that my wife knew and worked with him as a teenager. (Just a few year's ago.) We parked at the pier and were lucky that we caught someone just leaving. It's not easy on a nice Summer day between the locals and tourists. Once we entered the lobby, we looked around for a bit then went into the theater. A big semi circle of comfortable seating. No one is too far from the stage. Steven's show had a small cast and I could not think of a better to have seen this. The staff is very courteous and helpful.
