My husband had a beard trim with hot towel shave and enjoyed the experience with Leslie a lot. His beard looked great (far less scraggly!) after. I had a scalp massage (super relaxing!) and hair cut with Aryn. It's hard to trust someone the first time, especially with wavy hair, but she did a great job and really listened to what I wanted. She was also very engaging and easy to talk to. As an aside, their hand painted walls are gorgeous! Wonderful experience, we would definitely come back.

Years ago I had a bad experience with an esthetician who accidentally injected more Botox units than I wanted and I had zero movement in my forehead and drooping in one eye for 2 months. I was nervous to make this decision. I read Yelp reviews about Julie and LaJolie and scheduled an appointment. Julie listened intently to my history with Botox treatments, what my goals were- a small amount of movement, not totally frozen- and gave professional feedback with her suggestions. I am happier with the Botox treatment from Julie than my previous esthetician! I didn't expect to have found someone even better. I am just delighted, Julie is very skilled and pays close attention. They really listened to me & I was very impressed. The only negative I would say is - I noticed I got charged extra $25 for remix (of color I assume). I have had my hair colored many times & I have never been charged extra for more color that is mixed by a stylist. My hair is fine & shoulder length. I could understand this charge if my hair was very long & thick but I have the opposite situation. They need to build this in the price. It's tacky if I may be honest.
