This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hair salon…read more I scheduled my appointment with Ashlynn Olloa through Messenger because I wanted my hair color evened out. I dye my gray roots, and I had noticed that my hair had two different shades. To begin with, my appointment was scheduled for 2:00 p.m., but they did not start working on my hair until 3:00 p.m. That was the first sign that things were not going well. After making sure they understood exactly what I wanted, they began working on my hair and applied a dark brown dye. While Ashlynn was rinsing it out, I kept telling her that my scalp still had dye on it. She tried washing it again, but it didn't help. I kept scratching my scalp, and my fingernails would come away black from the leftover dye. They dried my hair, and to my surprise, it was full of orange patches. I was so shocked and scared. Meanwhile, I heard them saying, "This color is pretty. I like it!" All I could think was, "Oh my God... my hair." The manager then told me, "Don't worry, it's part of the process. We're going to fix it," and they applied another color. I ended up spending more than five hours at the salon. When they finished drying and styling my hair, my forehead and face were covered with black dye stains. I asked them to please clean them off. They cleaned some of it and then told me, "It will come off after you wash your hair at home." Three days later, I washed my hair, and once again, I was shocked. Orange patches appeared all over my hair. My experience at that salon had been so awful that I hated the idea of going back, so I waited, hoping my hair would somehow improve. Eventually, I contacted Ashlynn again through Messenger (I still have our conversation). She apologized and told me she would speak with the manager. It has now been 18 days since my visit, and my hair is still covered with orange patches. I have not received any response from the manager. Before making my appointment, I sent Ashlynn a photo of my hair and explained exactly what I wanted. She quoted me between $150 and $200, but I was charged $325, plus tip. What upsets me the most is that the "before" photo they posted on Facebook is not what my hair looked like when I arrived at the salon. It is a photo taken after they had already worked on my hair and left it looking terrible. Then they posted the final result as the "after" photo. That is misleading. I am attaching a photo of my hair the night before my appointment, along with the photo they posted as the "before" picture, so people can see the truth for themselves. If you love and care for your hair as much as I love and care for mine, please do not go there.

They told me that from my color it would be very easy to do my hair platinum, mind you the denied my first two photos and said they couldn't get my hair to do that, so I settled! The hair color I received was far from platinum, I walked out of the salon with yellow hair. 4 and last thing, they denied my a haircut because, they lady that did the cuts wasn't there, um hello are you not all cosmologists? But I scheduled my color as a color and cut, meaning after you receive color or before, they will cut your hair! At the end she told me my hair was to fragile to cut, and I said okay well I'm just going to go to another barber to get it cut, and she said that should be fine! Are you kidding me?
