Update: I received a call from a guy named Shane who says he is the President CEO of this company. After arguing(which he said he wasnt) for 40 mins, I finally had to just hang up. He mentioned the stylist is a master level stylist. One of his point was, why didnt I go back to get the hair fixed from them, he talked about the video he watched and everything looked fine..I didnt say anything then blah blah. He kept talking over me, and I dont think he even listened to me because I answered couple times, and he would keep asking the same question over and over again. I told him, I didnt go back to get my hair fixed from them because I already have had the bad experience and I didnt trust them anymore..he asked me "why didnt I go back" atleast 5 times, he just didnt listen to me. The problem starts from the top, if this is the leadership this studio has, I would like to say that the service was A+ I had tipped the stylist too, and he asked why did I tip if I didnt like the service, I answered this to him but I am sure he didnt listen. I did tip and left the studio without much argument, I was a little shocked and was feeling miserable and I just wanted to leave. Apparently, I made a mistake by doing that. This review is not to stop from anyone trying their services. I only got a hair cut from one person, and my personal experience was bad. There may be some amazing stylist there, I dont know that. This review is only to share my experience. And my experience with this business has gotten even worse after talking to the owner. At one point he said' "if I refund your money, will you go back to get another service" Dude, are you kidding me..Keep the Fking Money. I hope you can use it to get some Customer Service training. Update: ------------------------------------------------------- I finally found a "real" hair stylist to fix my hair disaster done at Studio M. Gwen was referred to me by a friend, and I feel stupid for not consulting with my friend to begin with. Before I went to Gwen, my hair looked like a bell, it was think on the bottom, no style..it was pretty horrible. Gwen also showed me a hair on my back that was rather short than the rest. Not only had the Studio M hairdresser, I think her name is Nicole, cut my hair way shorter than I asked, I have some parts thats way shorter than the rest. I was surprised how this place has 5 starts rating in yelp. 1st its only 7 people, plus found out, most of their original hair dresser quit so the reviews might have been for the older crew. The new people obviously does not know what they are doing. I dont think its fair that I have to pay twice for a hair cut, so I called them to ask for a refund, they never picked up, I left a VM, but they have not yet responded. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was gonna wait for few days before I write this review, but I hate this hair so much I cannot wait. I had long hair, so I went there today to get it short, to make it look different. It looks like someone just hold it and chopped it off . Its not really a hairstyle, its just a chop off. It looks so bad I cannot see myself in the mirror and i have my hair in a bun. I have thick hair so it probably needs to be layered a bit. I took some sample pics with me, she cut it way shorter than I had asked. Then she says, its the same length as the picture. Why can people just not accept when you screw up. I cannot believe I went to this place to get my hair look freaking horrible. The lady before me seemed happy, I don't know what she did, but mine is bad. There is a place in the mall that cuts hair for $5 and its much better than this. I went to a "Salon" thinking they would advise, do some good, professional job with my hair and Not just take a scissors and chop it off. I feel absolutely miserable right now. I am already looking for some other places to get it fixed, but she has already cut it soo freaking short I dont know if I can get it fixed now. I dont want it any shorter. I didnt want it this short to begin with, wth. Why did I have to pay for this horrible hair cut today. I went for a haircut and she got done within 20 mins? I seriously should have got my hair done from that $5 place, but you would think the "salon" would do a better job and what not. Soo wrong. I wish people working at salons would just not work if they are tired. If you arent feeling good, just dont take a client, dont screw up on their haircut because it cannot be fixed. This is such a miserable feeling, I dont know if I am mad or I just want to cry. You guys have just ruined my whole goddamn day, i hope it grows fast :( read more

I do not write reviews nor do I post on social media about a bad experience as I believe we all have mishaps now and again. I don't appreciate when people blast businesses that are starting out and I can sympathize with how hard it is to start up from the beginning. However I have waited over two weeks for a reply and nothing which is terrible business etiquette. I had a botch job for highlights. I would be extremely careful going to this place. read more

Best hair salon ever. Love my Lindsay. My hair is in the best shape/condition ever. She is truly an amazing stylist i have ever had. Been with her for almost 8 years. I just keep getting better results. The salon is really beautiful, set up perfectly for all the customers comfort. Finally getting around to leaving a Yelp (3 mos. after my visit). First time client - found this place after searching online looking for ballayge stylists in the area. Needed a haircut and wanted to start going back to blonde in a big way after dying my hair brown over many years of highlights. It was my first time at the salon (late April) and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. At the salon, Samantha did ballyage and cut. We discussed what I wanted vs. realistic outcomes, how often I plan on coming in for upkeep etc. She took the time to ask important questions to make sure she understood what I wanted. I'm not sure how she worked her magic, but for the first time in a long time I love my hair. I have an amazing cut and color that looks healthy and sunkissed and the cut was great. Samantha took a tremendous amount of time to give me beautiful hair and I am a huge fan of the salon and her work and will absolutely be back. If you need a great stylist, visit L'Amour. read more

I went in with ombre hair requesting a honey brown color only a few shades lighter then my natural brown. The women I got bleached my hair so long that I received sours all over my scalp and she gave me orange patchy hair, and breakage, for which the woman still wanted to charge me $230 for. read more

I do have to admit after watching the other stylists at L'Amour and seeing the end results , I'd be comfortable going to any of the stylist. Went in for a consultation, an eyebrow wax, and left very disappointed. Eyebrows were done in a very dim part of the salon, they were very uneven, weren't trimmed. I basically came home and cleaned up my own eyebrows for 15 dollars plus tip. Bonus: noticed I had wax in my hair halfway home :( :( :( The staff was nice. read more
