Let me start by saying this. Coach Ram is like an older brother or father to the kids. He constantly communicates and encourages students to become the best! He always pays attention to eat student as if it were his own children! That's a real Sifu I like the structure, training, family atmosphere they treated my son with. Josh loves it when he comes back and tells us all about the training! He knows it's tough and sweats but he enjoys Coach is pushing them to be his best. Josh came as a red belt from Wushu and I was accelerating at wing Chun. Thank you all coaches! Also special shout out to Coach Harrison. He make sure he never lets the kids quit including My Son! Pros: The program is good with teaching kids to be more respectful, teaching form, doing exercises and making it fun. If you have to miss class, they are good about helping you catch up too. The Harris brothers are great. My kids loved them. Cons: Ram is high pressure. I signed my 5 & 7 year old up for a 1 year contract for $434 a month after a $734 down payment. After signing, WITHIN WEEKS he was trying to get us to sign a 5 YR CONTRACT, ANOTHER DOWN PAYMENT and around $750/MONTH. It felt very bait and switchy to me. I was very surprised. When I originally signed I had already told him I hated getting locked into contracts. I told him there's no way I could justify signing a 5 year contract for a 5 year old. We stayed with the original 1 year contract (no choice now). If you do not go with the longer/more expensive contract you cannot advance beyond orange belt. I felt he should've been more upfront with all the different levels/pricing/contracts from the start. YOU NEED TO CANCEL WITH HIM 90 DAYS PRIOR and IN PERSON if you do not plan on renewing your contract. You cannot cancel unless you sign away your rights to any recourse. When you go to cancel it's a hard sell so I'd recommend not taking your kids (Ram tries to get you to bring them). I've signed my kids up for dance lessons, swim lessons, etc. and none were like this with the extreme contracts and cancellation policy. It would be a good program if it weren't for how they handle their business side. I could never in good conscience recommend them based off that. This felt like dealing with a car salesman. Just my experience. read more
