They/She is dismissive and unhelpful and doesn't seem to care you're there. It's just a weird vibe she puts off. She/They would rather be standoffish than engaging. I watched the interaction with other customers and realized it wasn't just me. At first I gave leeway to that fact that we all have bad days; so thought I'd check the yelp reviews and discovered it wasn't just me. Fortunately the guy in the cage notices this and gets you back on track; if not, seek him out. The counter employee isn't enough to keep me away from the shop, it truly is a landmark with great products. I'd just rotate that persons work position because their customer interaction skills are bad. Cashier guy is also friendly and nice! It may be intimidating to go into a place like that if you're a casual shopper for their stuff, but if you ask the questions you'll find what you're looking for. Their toys are mostly Chinese and is well kwon that mostly of Chinese products have factory defects.
