I've taken an intro class here before, and on Saturday I came in for my first official class at…read more11:00. (I got there at 10:55, so maybe I didn't show up early enough?) When I arrived, a class was already in progress, so I assumed it was the 10:00 a.m. class running a little late. I checked in, but the girl at the front desk didn't give me any guidance or explain that the class in progress was actually the 11:00 class. I sat in the waiting area for about 15 minutes before going back to the front desk to ask if the class currently going on was the 11:00 class. She responded, "Oh yeah, I was wondering what you were doing over there." It would have been very helpful if she had told me when I checked in that the class already in progress was the 11:00 class and that I was supposed to join it. Because that wasn't communicated, I missed a significant portion of my first class.

You can't sign up until your monthly pmt goes through, but by then all the classes for the week are full. If you work or don't have a wide open schedule it's very difficult to find a class time at your level that works. The classes you pay for in a month don't roll over. They will work with you somewhat so you dont lose a class you paid for. Over-all, I found that what I was getting out of this was not worth the price or the hassle.

If I haven't been in a while, they text me and ask if they can help me schedule a class and have a few times prioritized me getting into a class I'm on a waitlist for if it's been a while since I've been. As far as the other 1 star rating regarding billing, BODYBAR is no different than any other gym with it's billing policies. Simply give the 30 days notice required, and billing is stopped for the next payment. I discontinued my daughter's membership and it was as simple as that. They also will conveniently put your membership on a temporary hold if you have a circumstance that might prevent you from coming in for a while. I love the teachers and would highly recommend this Pilates gym to anyone wanting a hard, great workout!

We did a trio class with Lindsay and boy did she jump right in. We started with the chair and it was challenging but felt good. We didn't do too much on the reformer but did enough to test it out. She was attentive to each of us (who had different levels or adjustments needed) and was constantly providing adjustments. It was a fulfilling hour-long class that made us want more (really! We wanted to see if we could squeeze it into our trip again on our remaining days) The space was clean and beautiful with heated floors and nice facilities. Glad we tried here and would love to return on any trips back!

I recently attended their Age Regression Therapy event with Feathers of Heather and it was such a magical and uplifting evening. The session focused on connecting with your inner child, and it was surprisingly fun, heartfelt, and even a little healing. Bonus -- I ended up winning their raffle! I went home with a free greens drink mix AND a voucher for a free week of workouts. Total win. The whole experience made me feel like I was part of a warm, supportive wellness community. The crazy…read morething though, they just took my monthly membership fee yesterday and the lady at the desk stated they are keeping that AND I am not allowed to use the facility for the rest of the month? I almost couldn't hold in the laughter. Always happy to donate to a local charity I suppose. This franchise will never even be a consideration for me in the future. Also, they have staff in this bldg 3 days a week for just a few hours at a time, so when you need to cancel and it HAS to be done in person, you'll have to carve out some specific time in the schedule to go have your money stolen. And as you can see from the very heartfelt, yet super condescending and rude response from the OWNER, this is an excellent establishment, and a place you can feel good about spending your hard earned money
