I got married this past Sunday, November 14th 2021, and we hired John and Lynne initially for backdrop services. I contacted them that I was interested and they responded with ideas and even set up a phone call to map out the design. When the day came I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!! I planned this wedding in Michigan while living in Wisconsin, I did not meet them in person until the day of and they are the most lovely and professional people ever! I not only hired them for backdrop services, but also as our DJ! Wow do they know how to read a crowd! There wasn't a second where someone wasn't dancing! Music was a great selection and mixed so well. We planned a wedding after party in a completely different location in which John and Lynne showed up at both venues for set up/tear down. Correspondence was great, planning was amazing. I swear they are worth every penny. The only thing I wish I could change is to go back in time and hire them for event planning lol! I spent a lot of time, effort and money and chose your company because of the Cinderella carriage and strong recommendation from the venue I chose. This mixup of the carriage and wrong horse ruined my entrance. My parents and I drove over an hour each way to come to their farm and view the Cinderella carriage along with the horse that would be arriving for the day. I had a very nice time, and we bonded over the vision that I told them I've had since I was a little girl. I confirmed the Cinderella carriage and the dark horse (Big Billy or Lilly) live in person, over the phone multiple times, on the contract, multiple emails, and on the deposit payment even the final week before phone confirmation. Two weeks before the wedding Rose didn't know I had a contact and I had to Resend it to her along with the proof of PayPal payment confirming the Cinderella carriage. The day of the wedding moments before I was to be escorted in the carriage to walk down the aisle, I walk out of the venue to get into the carriage and it is the wrong one! It was very upsetting and just crushed me. There was nothing that could be done and what other option did I have being a mile away from the ceremony- so I got in. This was a huge mistake and was the most important part of my wedding! To top off the awful feeling of that day with the wrong carriage -I then saw guests of the hotel going for carriage rides (not even my guests) around the parking lot which completely stole the spotlight and significance of my entrance that I paid for, for my big wedding day. Out of respect for the company I sent my feedback via email to hopefully come to a conclusion to make it right. John Called me immediately and said " how do I make it right" After no response for over 2 weeks they responded to my email saying " We did provide you with a service, at your option" WOW After several other attempts to communicate they have not returned any line of communication. You provided me the WRONG service at a point that I had no option. I did not receive the service I paid for or we agreed upon. I'm a little shocked that's the stance you chose to take when you put me in a very uncomfortable situation just moments before I walk down the aisle on my wedding day. I was all by myself, on the opposite end of the hotel. What was I going to do at that point- I was completely in shock and removed from the entire wedding and the entrance point of where I was to meet my father. How Else was I supposed to get there? My only option was to get in the carriage. I am appalled by this companies lack of professionalism and not having any consideration for such a big mistake on my wedding day to rectify the situation. As a business owner, you should care more about your customers by providing the right service. You've intentionally kept the bad taste in my mouth when you could have made some sort of amends when you said you wanted to make it right, but didn't follow through. I never thought that you would have made so many mistakes but secondly how you would run your business when I came to your house and met you, what a shame. Regardless of retiring that you mentioned on the phone, your integrity is disappointing.
