I'm not one to post negative reviews, but looking back at pictures I'm getting angry all over again. First off, Zina is terrible to work with in the sense that she is very unorganized. She called me the morning of MY WEDDING DAY to ask me about very basic details that we went over multiple times before. Apparently, she never wrote it down? Also, the pictures below are what caused me to even write this. Photo #1 is what I wanted my arbor decorated like, and photo #2 is what I got. Five large balls of flowers... super ugly and not even close to what I wanted. She also was suppose to drape the entire back wall of my ceremony room AND she ensured me multiple times that she was familiar with the venue. Well, the day of she told me the stage caused an "uneven surface" and she couldn't cover the whole back wall. All in all, I regret my decision to go with this florist and hope this review helps someone else because your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and all you're left with is pictures. read more

She not only helped with flowers, but my invitations and gave suggestions towards the rest of my planning. She goes above and beyond to make you happy and really does an excellent job. Sue from Flowers by Amore did my flowers for my bridal shower and for my wedding last week. Everything was incredibly beautiful and she was just lovely to work with. She made the process so easy. She even added little things for free, like candles and flower pedals on the cake table, extra flowers on the head table, etc. She's amazing and the prices are reasonable. We ordered centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, and a chuppah (rented) through Flowers by Amore. The end product was absolutely beautiful and Zina was great at the beginning, especially in helping us cut down costs. But we are very torn; the lower rating is because of communication issues throughout the process. Our first disappointing experience was the centerpiece sample -- we had traveled into town (we live out of town) for a pre-sample consultation and instead of talking about what we wanted, were given a centerpiece of dead flowers based on some things we had discussed in the first meeting (interview/quote meeting). Zina tried blaming the miscommunication on me, but I had all of our communication in writing (emails). Once I forwarded those emails to show that it wasn't my fault, she made a new sample that looked much better and we saw it using FaceTime. The second disappointing experience was the actual delivery of the flowers. They arrived an hour late and we had a very tight schedule before the wedding. Zina made changes to the delivery schedule without checking with me -- again somehow laying the fault on me -- and thankfully our groomsmen carrying things in for the florist crew so our guests wouldn't be sitting waiting for the ceremony to start while watching the chuppah being assembled. We took many pictures without bouquets and boutonnieres and it just didn't seem like there was great problem solving on the florist's side. Since a wedding is a high-stress situation for everyone, it would just make sense to beef up the customer service and communication side of the business to match the beautiful flowers and products created by this shop. read more

Worst customer service ever. The owner is always TOO busy to attend to clients. Seems like she only wants to tend to clients with large events. Then when she finally does give you some attention, she goes and places orders in without getting final client approval.. thus forcing you to end up paying more than what you intended to. I would never recommend going here. read more

I don't think I have ever wrote a complaint before, because nothing has ever provoked me to do so... And I never like to complain, until right now. My wedding day was this past Saturday at the Royal Park Hotel (which is beautiful and the staff is AMAZING!). First off, the florist was 1 1/2 hours late delivering the flowers. So we had to take some pictures without them. Second of all, when the flowers did arrive, we were short a flower girl bouquet and a bridesmaid bouquet. I distinctly remember sitting down with Zina and my mother the first time we met, and Zina told us to get our flower girl fake flowers that looked kind of like a ball with ribbon attached. Me and my mom thought that sounded perfect! We also told her that there were 5 bridesmaids and one junior bridesmaid. But she failed to jot those notes down, so our flower girl and my maid of honor were without flowers! Second of all, we talked to them about table numbers... yep, they forgot those too. One of their associates wrote table numbers on a piece of paper for our wedding. Real nice! After my mom gave them an earful, they went on to tell her that it wasn't their fault and the florist just had a baby that day. Not my problem... I guess I should have thoroughly checked the invoice because when I went back after the wedding, the invoice was ALL wrong. So part of that was my fault... But when you are planning a wedding, you expect all of your vendors to be on top of everything! All of my other vendors were... Thirdly, I had to hound the florist down for every single one of my invoices. The first time I sent her a check for $1,000 and it took her a month to cash it. She never sent me an invoice after I asked her nicely and then she ended up losing my check, so I had to go back in my bank and give her all of the info. She ended up losing one of my other checks too and I had to go back into my bank account... and forgot to send the invoice. Last but not least, when my mom and I went to the mock set up, the florist was 15 minutes late. We ended up making a few changes to everything and Zina said she would send me an updated invoice (which she never did). So what I think happened was that she lost her notes when we made our changes, and then just went back to what we wanted for the original meeting with her. Bottom line, if you are planning a big event, you should think about going elsewhere. I have never been so disappointed. read more

The best word to describe this company is bi-polar. My wife and I used this company for our wedding flowers. We had a few meetings with Cheryl - after multiple attempts to track her down each time. One time, we drove 30min to meet up with her and she never showed up. Other times, our meetings were productive and helpful. The flowers for our wedding day were gorgeous. We got so many compliments. However, my wife noticed that many of the candles on our centerpieces (provided by Flowers & More) were blown out. Some of the linens were missing, and worse yet, the bill we received was higher than the original quote. It took OVER THREE MONTHS to track Cheryl down and get her to agree to the overage and a refund. As of today, we are still waiting for the check. So, if you have lots of time to babysit a vendor and a lot of patience, it's probably worth working with Flowers & More. The end product is beautiful. However, most of us don't have this time or patience for this, so I would recommend staying far away. read more
