We all know cleanliness is a serious issue due to fungus, bacteria and germs in the women's bathroom which I've mentioned to the staff several times, especially regarding the showers. There was a Band-Aid in the first shower on the left on the pull out seat for over six weeks. It was very obvious to see it which means No one was cleaned that shower for six weeks!!! There were some long black hairs in the other shower, which I slid underneath the mat just to see if anyone pulled it up to clean I went back several times in two weeks and the hairs are still under the shower mat which means no one's cleaned it for over two weeks!! I've mentioned these to the staff and the manager, and nothing has been done yet except to inform me that I'm no longer welcome there since I was dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

After 2 years of being here…read more Pros: 1. Prices are reasonable, and they offer good discounts 2. There are the 1-2 teachers that are good and still care for ALL kids Cons: 1. The owner is always in a bad mood and talks very disrespectfully to the parents 2. The woman in the office has no costumer service skills 3. The owner's daughter is a brat 4. The technique is very subpar, and you can tell teachers never get updated classes themselves 5. Joy kids get priority over recreational students 6. The owner wants to save money, so she hires students to teach (and not even the good students) 7. Dances get done 1 week before the show making them look horrible on stage 8. There is a restroom that hasn't worked all year 9. The owner wants to hide it but there is a big bullying problem going on with the teenagers 10. If you are not on the "board" or a rich parent that donates a lot of money to the studio, your child won't ever be priority, and they don't care if your child learns or not Current parents keep drinking the cool aid because they are friends but this is the reality I see. I Hope my review helps other parents find the right place.

The only dance studio in Yuma, AZ that actually cares for the kids' wellbeing -mental and physical…read more We've been to a ballet school in Yuma and that place should be shut down for child abuse, no exageration. That's why half the most serious kids quit at the end of the season last year. Dawn's Dance studio has been the best option for an introverted teen who just wants to dance. We were not part of Joy first year, but only being in the studio for 1 year, my daughter was accepted to one of the most prestigious summer dance programs in the country (and internationally). Yet, the ballet studio in Yuma put her to the back all the time, belittled her skills, and told her she'll never be a dancer. On the contrary, the supportive encouragement of the Dawn's studio owners, the teachers, and the kids, have been refreshing in the dance setting. The kids that do TA for classes, are indeed very VERY good and deserve to practice their craft and give back to the community through teaching. Basically at Dawn's dance studio, if you're not that great at dance, you're not taking it that seriously because in the studio, opportunities are given to you to be the best dancer you can be to get to the next level. We've been to many dance places from PNB in Seattle to top dance schools in San Diego in the past 13 years of my kid's dance training. Being in Yuma, you can't get better dance studio than Dawn's. If you don't like it, then you better move to another city with more options because Yuma is...Yuma.

I credit her with bringing fitness back into my life... before I met Emily I never actually enjoyed working out, but I do now! OnTrack Fitness comes to your home and brings the equipment you need, so there's no excuse to not work out! The convenience factor is key. Emily knows how to push her clients to work their bodies harder but never crosses the line. Several other personal trainers and group fitness instructors also work for OnTrack Fitness, and the company organizes running clubs and a newbie triathlon club. Additionally, they offer personalized ballroom dance lessons. My husband and I learned to dance before our wedding, specifically to our first dance song, and we never could have done it if we hadn't found OnTrack Fitness. I would highly recommend OnTrack Fitness to anyone in the Indy area who wants to work toward a healthier lifestyle.

I myself had struggled to become motivated to execise, much less have any interest in what my sister was training for at the time. Well, the day of her Triathlon I cheered for my sister and was in amazment of what she had accomplished. I was so proud of her, but never thought I would ever do anything of the sort. A few weeks later, I heard Emily Collins, owner of OnTrack Fitness was offering a Beginner's Half Marathon training. My good friend and co-worker came up to me and asked if I would be interested in doing this program with her and without any hesitation I said Yes. We attended our very first training class and I was terrified knowing what I had just gotten myself into, but Emily and staff explained and made me feel at ease that I was in good hands. I went home and told my sister immediately that I wanted her to do this with me. She agreed and there was no looking back after that. I'm happy to announce that I did complete my first half marathon! It was one of the best days ever for me. OnTrack Fitness has given me so much more in return. I look forward to working out, I love to run, and I've made some great friends in the process. I highly recommend OnTrack Fitness for those who have always wanted to do something extraordinary for themselves but never had the courage. It's a safe haven for beginner's and the staff along with Emily are really there to help! I chose this school for the commitment to stressing respect in school and home. Sensei Larios also stressed that karate was a defensive art and should never be used for an aggressive act. After a few years of watching my children learn, I joined as a way to stay fit. I was impressed with the knowledge and skill GM Larios possessed. At first, I did not believe in pressure points for self defense. I quickly learned it is one of the most effective forms of self defense ending a fight in seconds. it is perfect for smaller people, I have been with the school for over 13 years now and have traveled to seminars and camps around the US and Mexico observing and participating in self defense and pressure points. I have seen many experts from around the world and have to say GM Larios is among the top 3. He is one of the few who can use the techniques for street instead of just for show. He travels extensively in Mexico and South America teaching

The studio made a large move from a building on Main Street to a building at their home. This has caused many problems. Their financial state of affairs is questionable. The studio went an entire week with NO RUNNING WATER but held classes anyway. Neighbors have complained about the number of cars parking on the street and so they have asked parents not to stay for classes but to just drop off their children. This leaves no accountability to the owners. The children are unsupervised unless they are in class. There is no room for students waiting for class to be in the studio and they don't want the students in their house so they have the students waiting OUTSIDE on the patio and in the Yuma heat. On one occasion, I had to go pick up my friend's daughter because she had a medical emergency and when I had arrived, NO ADULT had aided the child. She was on her own with the help of a bunch of other kids and in fact, niether of the owners knew what had happened. UNACCEPTABLE. We brought this up to the owners who became immediately defensive. Bradley stopped all communications with the mother. He would not deal with her at all after that. Highly unprofessional behavior. Bradly's moods have become worse and worse. Just the other night, after a refund was requested by a parent, Bradly verbally accosted a student for sitting against a wall instead of dancing in a dance routine that she was not part of. The student's response "he's just in one of his moods". When is it ok for a child to be so used to an adults behavior that they make that kind of statement. As this story has been talked over, more issues have come to surface of Bradly's temper and verbal assault against his students. I and other parents are currently working to file a formal complaint against Arizona Classical Ballet and Bradley Bowen.
