I would definitely recommend eating here but you need to get there before 2pm because they close actually probably won't set you after 1:30.

You can get five stars once you bring back some older menus items, the spiral potatoes with chilli etc. was a dish everyone knew about. The chicken fried steak meal was a staple and the Cheva was a classic. Bring the OG sh$t back and your customers will be very happy again. Please bring these items back. read more

Came here for dinner, work related trip for my husband, and the hot chicken sandwich was one of the best I've had in a long time. The fries were so flippin good I wish I knew the batter they used for them. The waitress was super very friendly. We were sitting fast. Place was busy with prom dates enjoying the night. Nice frosty beers. I had chopped brisket sandwich and loaded potato salad. Very good. Small town bar, great place to enjoy a beer! Business travel led me to Canadian, and some local employees suggested a late evening meeting at the Stumblin Goat. Since I'm a relatively inexperienced bar-goer, I tend to get an anxious feeling when the bar-tender asks for my drink order: it was so nice to see one of my favorite Oklahoma beers on tap, the hoppy & delicious F5 from COOP Aleworks! While I didn't have the pleasure of sampling any entrees, we did manage to get an order of fried pickles in before closing, and they were GREAT! An oasis in a dry county... You have to "register" to drink but it is a minor deal and costs nothing.. Keeping with the goat the theme there is a stuffed goat at the entrance called B.O. ( stands for bottle opener) there is a place in his butt where you can open your soda or beer bottle. The saloons modo is " greasy burgers and bad service" Neither is true... Food is good and service is friendly. Menu is pretty much burgers and fried food.. Pizza is fair and oven baked sandwiches are HUGE! read more

This is a must stop if near Canadian, TX. Our beer was icy cold, our waitress was sassy, thanks Cali for a good time, and the food.....well I had the small chicken boobies (bites), and they definitely were not your average, bar junk, frozen, chicken bites. They were delicately breaded, perfectly deep fried, moist bites of chicken. My plate came with twisted taters which were also perfectly fried, crisp not soggy or greasy there fry cook really know what they are doing. Ok, my favorite item were the onion rings off my husband's plate. They were a nice medium slice of hand breaded, perfectly cooked, oh my goodness, yum. I hate to keep saying "perfectly" but the value of a good fry cook cannot be measured by a lesser word. Worth the drive from anywhere in the Panhandle. read more

Ate here tonight beer is good and very cold all our food was great except my wife had the "burger of the month" some fish sandwich that was more of a salmon patty type thing, it was not cooked well enough and when she picked it up the patty fell apart! Had the waitress take back and maybe cook it longer, now just so everyone knows you can not take food off a plate and throw it back on the grill as is what they did if this is their burger of the month it's going to be a long month for their normal foodies, but all else food was great. Man! What happened to the twisted tators?! Geez, those are the best things but I guess they took them off the menu. Also, the salad bar didn't look all that fresh and looked a little like it had been sitting there awhile. The bartendar was awesome though and super fast at serving drinks! The service was great, especially for how busy they were during fall festival weekend. It has a great atmosphere. The food was OK. Appetizers were good and the garlic Parmesan wings my daughter had were excellent, but the other dishes (burger and kids cheese pizza) were over cooked and cold like they had been sitting for a while. Aside from the food we ordered tasting great, the cost was reasonable and it was served fast and with a smile. What a great theme! They use car wheels to hold the tables up, have an old school arcade game and instead of giving you a number for your table, they give you sign with a picture of a rock band There's even a giant burger challenge which is free of you eat it all....its HUGE! read more

For such a redneck establishment, there is a very stringent dress code. For example, no "big" sneakers or high-tops allowed. Flip flops and torn attire will get you turned away, as well as a sideways or backwards cap. Other rules include no muddy or greasy clothes or bandanas. Pretty ridiculous considering they have a stuffed goat with a bottle opener in his rear end! The food is acceptable, but not great. We rode our bikes over one Saturday afternoon and had lunch here. Great atmosphere and awesome food and service. We liked it so much, we stopped back by on our way home later that day. Two thumbs up in my books. Can't wait to go back. read more
