My daughter, Kristen was coming from Ottawa to surprise her sister Rachel for her birthday today(August 31) and was in an accident just this side of St. Thomas. She hit a transport truck and she spun out on the 401 at 1 am this morning. She ended up quite a ways off the highway down in deep grass/ditch area. If she would have lost consciousness who knows how long it would have been before we found her. Thankfully her and my grandpuppy- are safe and home in Chatham with us. Shout out to the OPP who were wonderful and compassionate through the entire ordeal. But I have nothing but bad things to say about the tow company and the guy who towed her jeep back to Chatham. He was rude, and unkind(I have a few other names but won't say them here) He was only worried about the money he was going to charge us to get her car back to Chatham and seemed to not care at all if she was ok. He wasn't going to allow me to get her suitcases out of her car until he put it up on a flatbed truck. When I asked for a 3rd time if I could get her stuff out of the car so she would have clothes at my house for the night. ..he said "what are you in a hurry" Not in a hurry...but wanted to get my daughter home where she could feel safe and secure after the scarey ordeal she had just thankfully lived through. It appeared he was not happy to have to do his job. He appeared upset that we wanted the vehicle brought to Chatham instead of to their compound in St. Thomas where they would charge us daily compound storage fees. As a customer we have the choice and should not have to feel like we were inconveniencing him. We wanted it brought to Chatham to make things easier to deal with getting her jeep repaired. Sorry...NOT sorry we inconvenienced you by making you do your job. I will never use Loveday's Towing out of St. Thomas again and will be sure that others know what a horrific experience this cold hearted man brought to what was already terrifying for my daughter and myself as a mother!!!

Being relatively new to London I was looking for a mechanic that charges reasonable rates and most…read moreimportantly is HONEST! I went through a handful of bad ones before finding this gem. While trying to cheap out I used one backyard mechanic for oil changes. My splash guards were never put back on properly, there were delays, if u did a brake job the was always clicking noises and squeeling sounds and I just wasn't happy. For big stuff I tried a few different shops. All of which ended up charging an arm and a leg for work which did not even need to be done. Even things like brakes which I had done a month before I was told I need to do again at a shop on Oxford. We have all been that but f*** come on at least take care of the original problem I came in with while you are robbing me and doing all this extra stuff . . . My car is already broken which sucks and now you want to break my bank too?!? Basically I had to buy an OBD reader and read the codes and make sure I was not getting scammed every single time before I went in to my old mechanic. My old one was so bad that I am literally scared to write a bad review about them. . Once I found London Auto Source about 8 months ago I went in with a minor problem and expected it to cost $200ish which is what Google said it would be. I dropped the car off, was called back within an hour and came to pick it up. The bill including parts and labor came to $80 and was done in an hour! That is what I like to see! Fair prices, quick work and honest people who don't try and bankrupt you. This place seems to be family owned and the people working there are super nice and even offer you coffee while you wait, help and tips if you plan on doing the work yourself, a ride home if you are within a reasonable distance and even offered to drop my car I had work done on to my home(around the corner) since I was driving my other one. I assume rides home and stuff were just a favor so don't expect that lol Here I don't have to worry about sending my girlfriend in with her car to get work done (unlike other places who double or triple the price of repairs when she walks in). While other people take advantage of young ladies who know nothing about cars these guys take the time to explain the problem to her, how they think they should fix it and treat her like a human being. Basically there is no need for you, whether you are a girl or guy to come in flexing your mechanical knowledge muscles which is great because I have next to 0 and my GF is even worse. It is not one of those sketchy shops with old parts lying around, oil stains and seedy, grease covered, face tattooed individuals smoking cigarettes inside. You can tell there is a sort of pride of ownership which is put into the business that you don't see very often. They do everything by book and work with you no matter what your situation is and are not there to make a million bucks off you but rather EARN your repeat business and referrals which I happily give after the thousands they have saved me and my friends. The shop itself is huge, clean - like cleaner than most retail clothing stores, has a bunch of docks and lifts to deal with high traffic and multiple jobs at the same time and all their mechanics are oddly enough, very clean?!?, well spoken, informative, knowledgeable and once again and most importantly honest. Ever since I found these folk whenever I have a problem with one of my car's I just drop it off, give them the keys, a little bit of a description about the problem/symptoms and they either take care of the diagnosis on the spot or give me a call back with a quote within the hour. Coming from someone who does about 35,000km's a year of driving I cannot emphasise how much of a weight off my shoulders it is not to have to go on YouTube and self diagnose, attempt a repair and if it doesn't work go to some shady guy who is going to charge me $1000+ for a job that doesn't even get rid of the problem. Bottom line the folk here are truly men of non-negotiable integrity and I cannot express how happy I am to of found them. If you are looking for a good, honest, fairly priced mechanic give the guys a shout and you will see what I am talking about. And if you drive as much as me and my girlfriend it will change your life lol

I was connected with Emery Stewart, and after sending a photo of the damage and receiving an estimate we agreed on the afternoon of Thursday 27 Nov 2025 to repair the damage. The weather this day turned out to be somewhat appalling, blustery cold with some wet snow mixed in, and I was expecting to have a cancellation call but Emery kept the appointment and kept me appraised of his anticipated arrival time so that I could do other things while waiting. Never having seen a paintless dent repair before I confess to being somewhat amazed by the process. Emery did a fantastic job of repairing the dent without removing or disassembling anything from the vehicle or damaging the paint. I would defy anyone to point out the area where there dent was located. The final cost was as quoted and I am extremely happy with the results and the cost. I definitely recommend this service to anyone with small unsightly dents in their vehicle!

He then quoted me $100 to fix it and when I asked him if he can repair it, his response was "yes, forsure." Not only did he increase the price from $100 to $140 then to $200 but he did an horrible job. Unfortunately, I was not home to see the hack job he did and my wife was dealing with him. After I returned home and seen the "repair" I called Nate to let him know that I was not happy with it..I asked for nothing, no reimbursement, absolutely nothing, I just wanted him to know that I felt it was not a successful repair. BUT instead of listening to my concerns, Nate became very belligerent and confrontational, to the point where he invited me to "come and see him in person at his shop." The two things id like people to know form this review are 1) this individual did not live up to the standard of repair he promised 2) his youth and inexperience is definitely a factor for his complete disregard for his customers concerns and totally unprofessional attitude!
