Knowing that I was travelling back to New Zealand, she asked me if I would like my pyjama set wrapped in tissue paper. lol! I had to refrain from making an adroit remark. My wife bought herself two sets of sleepwear. Love this place. Not sure if they have P.A in NZ but I'll be looking online to see if anything else jumps out at me wanting to be purchased. Great store space with great presentation. Clean and uncluttered. Discreet changing room for those who don't want to be seen trying on the sleepwear. Great range of sleepwear to suit moderate to expensive tastes. This is not a low cost retailer. All in all, highly recommended. Three out of three thumbs up!

We purchased two recliners from Harvey Norman Bundall for approximately $4000 after waiting a…read moresignificant amount of time for them to be manufactured and delivered. Unfortunately the experience since then has been extremely disappointing. Due to repairs being carried out in our home following Cyclone Alfred, the lounges remained stored in their original manufacturer boxes while work inside the house was being completed. When we finally unpacked them, both chairs immediately displayed the same faults. From the first use there was a loud mechanical clunking noise and the footrest mechanism intermittently fails to elevate properly during normal use. These issues occur on both recliners. A technician attended and acknowledged that the spring mechanism required adjustment. Despite both chairs showing the same faults, the store has taken the position that this is only a minor issue and that a simple adjustment is the only remedy they are willing to offer. In addition, the recliners are extremely uncomfortable to sit in for any extended period of time. They are honestly the most uncomfortable chairs we have ever sat in and we are in our fifties and have owned many different lounge suites over the years. After approximately thirty minutes of normal sitting the discomfort becomes significant enough that the chairs cannot reasonably be used for extended seating. A recliner that cannot be comfortably used for normal sitting or reclining is not performing its basic function and raises serious concerns about whether the product is fit for its intended purpose, particularly for a purchase of this value. During discussions with the store, the franchise owner stated that the footrest behaviour was common and that in his thirty years of selling lounges it is normal for the footrest not to engage properly without adjusting your weight. We found this surprising as we have owned lounges for decades and have never experienced this issue with any recliner we have previously used. The most disappointing part of this situation has been the way it has been handled by store management. Communication has felt dismissive and inflexible, with little willingness to genuinely engage with the concerns raised or work toward a fair outcome. As customers living with disabilities, functional seating is not simply a comfort It directly affects everyday usability in our home and that context did not appear to be taken seriously or even considered during discussions with the store. After waiting so long for the lounges to be produced and paying around $4000 we expected far better quality and after sales support from a major national retailer. Instead the experience has left us feeling that the faults are being minimised rather than properly addressed. Because the store has refused to resolve the issue fairly or provide a refund we will now be pursuing the matter through the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal. This is not a step we wanted to take but we have been left with no reasonable alternative other than to formally dispute the matter and deal with the time, stress and legal process that comes with that. We hope Harvey Norman head office reviews how this situation has been handled, as the current response from the Bundall franchise has been extremely disappointing for customers who simply expected functional furniture and reasonable after sales support

The quality of the garment and fabric was inconsistent with my experience of the label purchased (I own a few from the brand from recent years) and I was unhappy with the dress. There was insufficient information on the listing for me to know that the fabric being used was very different from their usual standard of rayon, the pictures provided gave no indication of the fabric either. For me, the item did not meet description. I wrote to The Freedom State requesting the ability to return the item, as they do not usually accept returns on sale items as per policy. They wrote back with a stock standard response, refused to take back the item. Offered 10% discount on my next purchase, which is useless because I won't ever purchase from them again when there are so so many other online retailers that care about customer satisfaction. The Freedom State = online order fail. I'll be shopping elsewhere in the future.

Shame I cannot add pictures of the expensive ($169), popular Chicko boots, which I bought late Sep 2018. After just 5 months, the heel completely opened up, showing some weird paper material inside. This happened after just 5 months of occasional wear (as over the summer in Sydney, so I wore them REALLY sporadically!). End of story: The customer service at the Freedom State is terrible - they emailed back saying that they won't refund/replace, neither did they offer to repair the faulty boots, just suggested lightly that they'd pay 15$ towards the PARTIAL cost of the cobbler's services!!! Part of me was amazed at this brazen unprofessionalism. The shoes that won't even last a whole season with very light wear? Judge for yourself!

FYI: Mt Woodgee is actually named after a mountain range in the Gold Coast of Queensland....just in case anyone gives a shitter bout the name. Mt Woodgee is located on the Gold Coast, in Southeast Queensland. The shop actually has three locations, Coolangatta, Burleigh Heads, and Currumbin, all in Queensland (for those who are geographically challenged, or not familiar with OZ). Mt Woodgee makes some pretty awesome, custom, handcrafted surfboards, both their shorty and longy surfboards definitely are made specifically for each surfer based on his/her requirements and dimensions. All boards are designed and spec'd out for each surfer and shaped based on their particular needs. Mt Woodgee definitely have some of the best, top notch shapers, laminators, sanders, and glassers in the bizz. They will definitely take all the time to customize any style of surfboard to meet all ur requirements. The absolute best of all, is that all boards are handcrafted and customized in Eastern, OZ. No imports here, 100% Aussie made...OI...OI...OI. They carry a selection of high performance pro surfboards all the way down to beginner boards. Plus, they have staff pro riders that do all the research and development to help produce the perfect boards. A place that's been in bizz for over 30+ years, obviously has to be doing all the right things. Having surfed their boards before on many occasions, I can honestly say that I was definitely impressed with the feel, precision and quality of ride with their product. I would definitely recommend their surfboards to anyone lookin' to begin surfin' or any surfer who's lookin' to get a new board. The time and effort that goes into each custom surfboard is priceless. Great job Mt Woodgee.....I'll keep up the passion and life of surfin' while you continue making ur custom boards....Cheers!!!

I was finally served by a very friendly and helpful young man who had never dealt with returns before. He managed to arrange for the return of my phone. After waiting so long for service I really appreciate his help. This happened on a Sunday but even so more staff should be available .
