I bought a dress online that needed to be let out in the rib cage area. Called Tie the Knot and got…read morein quickly for alterations. I picked up the dress and they did a fabulous job! Money well spent. Marianne was very polite and accommodating! Would go back if I needed anything else!

I know what you're thinking, a guy reviewing a bridal shop?…read more The fiancée and I were spending a day in Pueblo and she wanted to look at wedding dresses. This was the first time I had come with her on the search. This was truly awful experience. First, the smell. Now, I had never been in a bridal shop before, but I don't think it is supposed to smell like the dresses are rotting on the hangers. Second, the sales associate sat my fiancée down in front of a catalog and started pulling dresses before asking any questions about the style/concept of the wedding. Then, when both I and my fiancée tried to explain what she was looking for, it was like talking a brick wall. For example, after the first dress, my fiancée stated in no uncertain terms that she did not like beading or "bling" of any kind, yet each dress she was brought seemed to have more "bling" than the last. Another example, my fiancée asked to try on something with lace at least four times and was only brought a dress with any lace on it after I had picked it out for the sales associate and said "this is what she has been talking about, have her try this." Third, a woman who I can only assume is the owner, interjected herself into the consultation and tried to take over without listening to either us or the sales associate. For example, I mentioned a that I liked the look of a dark red wedding dress they had a poster for and asked if they had it in stock. All of a sudden, red sashes or accents were being added to every dress my fiancée tried on. We went to two different bridal shops that day and the difference in service, selection and atmosphere was truly palpable. This place just came up very short in every way.
