Im not from GR and I got to meet so many other friendly awesome vendors. I would drive again to ge a vendor at one of their events. I could not believe how big the store was. There is so much variety and such a wide selection of both candy and gift items. The candy is incredible. They feature a candy of the month and even offer samples. While we were there, we tried a truffle with raspberry in the center and it was really good. One of my favorite finds was tucked in the back corner...kind of a hidden gem. They have marked down candy that does not quite meet their quality standards. It might look a little different or vary in size, but it still tastes the same. Totally worth checking out. We picked out a variety to bring to bingo including butter toffee, sea sale caramel, peanut butter cups, and a pecan cluster. Everything was delicious. The store itself was very clean, including the bathrooms, and it smelled amazing from the second we walked in. My only callout is that the employees were not especially friendly. We did visit about 45 minutes before closing, so maybe that played a role, but it was not the warm welcome I had expected. So much so that I felt weird taking photos (which is reflected here). All in all, still a really fun stop and absolutely worth the trip.

And, this is a low-pressure environment - it isn't unusual to find people simply strolling through the beauty alongside those serious shoppers. All seem to share a devotion that goes back years. Bachman's is highly likely to have just the plant you are looking for (yes, even the unusual ones) ... and if they don't, they do know what you are talking about and will try to point you toward a reasonablly close replacement, or the place you might find just what you are after. Today, I've been greeted by some employees I've come to know .... I'm here to find some strawflower seeds and maybe more herbs and the fancy tomatoes ...
