I decided to make a little road trip to Abdollah Candies on my way to bingo at Treasure Island and although it was a bit out of the way, it was completely worth it. I could not believe how big the store was. There is so much variety and such a wide selection of both candy and gift items. The candy is incredible. They feature a candy of the month and even offer samples. While we were there, we tried a truffle with raspberry in the center and it was really good. One of my favorite finds was tucked in the back corner...kind of a hidden gem. They have marked down candy that does not quite meet their quality standards. It might look a little different or vary in size, but it still tastes the same. Totally worth checking out. We picked out a variety to bring to bingo including butter toffee, sea sale caramel, peanut butter cups, and a pecan cluster. Everything was delicious. The store itself was very clean, including the bathrooms, and it smelled amazing from the second we walked in. My only callout is that the employees were not especially friendly. We did visit about 45 minutes before closing, so maybe that played a role, but it was not the warm welcome I had expected. So much so that I felt weird taking photos (which is reflected here). All in all, still a really fun stop and absolutely worth the trip. read more

I just visited this store for the first time this week! It was super cute with different merchandise for purchase along with all the chocolate and candy. There were a couple of samples sitting out which is a big thumb's up from me! I tried a churro(??) flavored toffee and a dark chocolate covered sea salt caramel which were both delicious. The worker I interacted with was very friendly and answered all my questions. I bought a few candies but haven't dug into them yet. They also make the candy and chocolate in the part of the building attached to the retail store! One thing to note is that they do close a little early (6 pm on weekdays) I've been wanting to visit this place for a while but kept forgetting about it in my short window between working and them closing. read more

My friend and I visited on Monday, 11/25/24 around 5:30pm (30 minutes before closing) specifically for the Black Friday BOGO Special--chocolate singles. We always need to browse the store for new goodies and the imperfections just to see what's offered. However, the employee working the imperfection section was not nice and just meh. When we asked a question, it's almost as if we ruined her entire day or something. It really rubbed me the wrong way. This chocolate shop offers lots of different options and many cute gifts as well.
