I am so glad I did! She was very pleasant during our phone conversation and seemed pretty knowledgeable. I brought my two doggies in for the works today and the place was nice and clean. She had some kennels for safe keeping while they waited their turns. They seemed to be at ease when I came back to pick them up. They look and smell great! I've found our new groomer!

He was practically molting...big fur balls all over the place and I didn't want him to trash my host's home. I first called Pet Smart. They put me off until the next day. All fine and good but didn't help prevent the mess that was about to be made. On a whim, I called Jan's and explained the situation. Unbeknownst to me, Jan and her lovely daughter Jamie, have a thriving business and were completely booked. But after a brief chat, Jan made a colossal, humanitarian effort to work me in. And pretty much with every groomer after about half a dozen groomings or more she pretty much has to be drug into or carried into the groomers business. In other words, she isn't happy about going. Since starting to take her to Joh Joh's about five years ago, she has never had any kind of negative reaction to walking in the door. She goes right to them and seems happy to be there. Christie (not sure if I spelled that correctly) was very friendly and greeted me and my pups wonderfully when we came through the door. We discussed the type of cut each needed and she gave me a price estimate which was exactly what I'm used to paying for pet grooming. Two hours later I got the call that Allie and Brady were ready to be picked up! That's really quick compared to most groomers. I realize she might not always be that prompt but it's nice that the dogs didn't have to sit in a cage all day and wait their turn. And the best part? They look beautiful! Their cuts are very neat and you can tell that Christie took her time to get the hair even. There were no long or short patches. Their faces were clean and trimmed perfectly.
