I couldn't figure out the 3 step process to get it back on. I called Youngstown Propane assuming that I had a problem in the line and needed a repair. The guy that answered walked me through the process and it was relit in about 10 minutes. If I ever need anything propane related, this place will get my first look and will have an advantage. I was moving out of a monthly Airbnb rental because I was forced to resign from my remote/virtual speech therapy due to what I now know was Long Covid, a textbook case per the two doctors who officially diagnosed me this past early spring. I was experiencing extremely bizarre symptoms I was not ever prone to after a mild case of Covid in late August 2022. For the next 4 months I managed to push through and almost made it to the end of the semester, but just as I was set to complete only 12-15 short, simple routine progress reports due the last day before winter break, I began shaking with tremors stemming from the core of my being and felt like I could continue to work at my stand up desk and risk death by stroke or hear failure or collapse into my bed, wrwppfreeze, I turned both my phone and computer off and spent the two week winter break too stunned and afraid and shamed because I had no clue what was wrong with me and I knew my supervisor and other school staff would be contacting me to turn in my progress reports to meet the deadline for compliance no matter the extenuating circumstance I found myself in. Like millions of other Americans who have lost their jobs to Long Covid brain, nervous system and immune system dysfunction with severely debilitating side effects with no successful treatments or cure in sight. At any rate, I was too sick and in financial ruins, afraid to leave my bed let alone drive to my storage unit to pack it all back jnto my car and store it for free at my boyfriend's house. When I was driving home from getting my dog and I out for a quick walk and fresh air on a "good" day, I stopped by and cleared out almost all of my belongings EXCEPT for a few things too heavy for me to lift from the cart to my trunk by myself. No one was around to help and it was freezing and pouring down rain, so I locked up and drove home thinking I'd take a friend to help me before the end of my rental month and be done with it; however, that's not how long Covid works; when they say not to push through and to pace yourself, they are right! I was so messed up from that little outing with my dog and stop at my storage unit that I had to spend about 2 weeks in bed recovering. When spring arrived, I called my local storage store and explained to the woman who answered that the items I'd left behind were the most important ones, really the only ones I had sentimental attachment, to: my late beloved mom's children's book collection (an exceptional and unforgettable remedial teacher for 18 years at Saint Luke's School who helped instill the love of learning through reading stories and gazing at illustrations in picture books and YA short stories; fiction, nonfiction; poetry and letter writing. She converted her room inside the dilapidated auxiliary teacher's mobile unit outside the main building into a safe, comfortable, cozy reading nook. She rocked on her wicker rocking chair reading to her student who grabbed a seat on the big puffy lavender corduroy sofa or one a bright and cheery colored floor pillow plopped down on a gently used area rug my mom scored at a thrift store along with the couch and floor pillow. She was the kind of mom who read to me at every opportunity, long after the bubbles the bath tub fizzled our and my ten little fingers and ten little toes shriveled into tiny raisins, and the bath water lukewarm warm. So I had two giant heavy wooden crates of her mostly children picture book collection; in gently worn but good condition except for the inky blue unmistakable cursive hand writing inside the front cover where she wrote her name and sometimes a memory she had reading the book to me or my little brother. She had the entire series such as my personal favorites: The Serendipity collection's Catundra a story about a plump orange tabby cat who ran out of food at his abandoned cabin in the woods by a steam where he met a very clever mouse who knew poor Catundra was always hungry because she was lonely and had no friends. The mouse said please don't eat me; I'll be your friend and teach you how to exercise and eat healthy foods. Since I'm an aspiring children's book author; it's needless to say how sentimental; irreplaceable and invaluable (but I can only imagine what someone paid because the entire series were indeed worth a decent size coin. Along with the crates or books, I left behind her heavy cedar chest my dad lovingly and skillfully restored with slate blue paint and pewter hardwire; for as long as I can remember, this chest sat facing the foot of her bed in a perfectly sized built in "cove," protecting her treasured cashmere and other woolen or silk sweaters and accessories both of which moths love to eat, unless locked safely in a cedar chest.

Town and Country Lawn and Garden offers no such support and actually made it considerably more difficult on me to get product defects dealt with and addressed. I recently moved to the area, decided to check out Town and Country as they were the local power equipment dealer. Within days of learning of their existence I purchased a $600 Stihl chainsaw from them. There were some red-flags during the purchase process, notably they had to get a tech from the back to even sell me the chainsaw. The tech also kind of threw out cliche phrases and some outdated preconceptions about the m-tronic feature of the saws I was looking at. Still, I decided to go through with the purchase. Right out of the box the saw gave me issues, demonstrating well-documented hot start issues. I battled the saw for 6 days in the woods trying to work through the issue, resetting the "computer" and trying different starting and cool down. procedures. After exhausting all avenues at home I begrudgingly brought it back to the dealer, abandoning the work at home I needed to get done. The lady at the counter was immediately defensive offered zero reassurance that they'd get me taken care of on this $600 saw I bought from them less than a week prior and yet to get a single day of proper use from. She brought a different tech out from the back to hear about the things Id try and the exact symptoms I'd experienced. I was VERY careful to explain the exact way to replicate the problem reliably. I didn't want to get a phone call a week later saying the saw "worked fine for them". Long story short, they failed to fix it. They initially misdiagnosed it, blamed Stihl for sending the wrong part and even at one point tried to put an outdated version of the m-tronic control unit on the saw and give it back to me. That plot was thwarted when the Tech Supervisor at Stihl realized I knew the difference and would be able to tell they put the wrong part on. All the while, Town-Country never called me to update me. I had to either call them, or call Stihl to get updates. T&C actually told me at one point they simply did not have the time to call their customers with updates. That's really all you need to know about this place. Eventually Stihl asked Town-Country to refund me so they could get the saw back to R&D to figure out what was wrong. I decided to roll the dice on another Stihl, and bought the same saw from another dealer a little further away. That dealer has been much better to deal with and I've already bought several more Stihl products from them without issue. Avoid Town & Country if you value your time and money. I can only imagine the headaches you'd have with them if you bought a tractor or bigger piece of equipment.

In spite of bringing manual with me, which…read moreincluded part/model number of the bagger, the counter guy at T-C insisted the bagger he was selling me was the correct model even though it was different from the cub cadet manual. You guessed it. Wrong bagger. If you have an older model cub cadet (mine is 2009), the current model bagger won't go on. Instead of going back to town-country, I phoned cub cadet, they are sending me the correct parts for free -- not paying for shipping either. Kudos to cub cadet. In the end, I got the problem fixed free, but the delays, the time on the phone, the rudeness of the town - country employee, etc. are the reasons I give only two stars. I don't even know what I'm giving them two stars. I had a lengthy discussion with this T-C employee about whether the bagger he was selling me was the correct one, he assumed I needed it installed by them instead of me installing it myself (it's an easy install), whether I knew the year of my tractor...he was very condescending/rude and he treated me like I was ignorant. Be ready for that too, ladies (there were other men in the store and he had a distinctively different communication style with the men than he had with me). Next time I need parts or accessories for my cub cadet I will go to a different distributor.
