They advertise automatic delivery as a way to keep from worrying about your tank level. The problem is that they don't automatically deliver. The only thing auto about it is the auto payment coming out of my account. For the second winter in a row my tank is almost empty and all they give you is apologies. Apologies don't keep my family warm. I requested delivery online and called the 1-800 number over the weekend to get my delivery scheduled. Called again today, three days later, to find out that I'm not even on the route for delivery. No real explanation as to why. Just more apologies. So if you have another choice in propane I would go with that. The delivery drivers are nice and helpful, so the one star is for them. It would be a zero if I could. read more

Exact same situation as David R, except they gave him an emergency tank. They did not even offer that to me. I called for a refill BEFORE the storm came through, and I'm suppose to be on AutoFill. Have been calling for a week and all I get is we're doing the best we can. The last call the answer I received was"you've been pushed back" and no indication when I can expect delivery. This is the second year in a row this has happened, except last year I had an empty tank. As a senior citizen, keeping the thermostat at 61 is not fun. If I want to eat, it has to be something I can put in microwave.... and I'm really tired of soup. Since they don't need my business I'm finding a more reliable supplier. This company plans its deliveries so you always come up short. THen, they charge $300 for an out of route delivery and for the additional gas. read more

Suburban propane is a non-professional supplier we've been with this company with for over 20 years when they used to be blue flame this bat snow storm we had in Ohio put us at 10% of propane in our big tank so I called and asked for a refill on it because we have automatic refills it did not come in so they brought us a 50 lb emergency tank instead of filling up our bigger tank it's been over 4 days and we still not have received any propane in our bigger tank especially when there is a handicap who cannot move talk walk or do anything for himself and a elderly person also lives here I believe that people with disabilities and elderly people should be a priority this is ridiculous do not trust suburban propane for any needs thank you read more

We're on automatic refill and we have ran out of propane 3 times ,we're out now and they don't know when they will get to us

Coldest day of the winter so far, on automatic delivery, ran out of propane last night, 14 hours ago. We called and let them know, they never showed up. It's 25 degrees in this house now, and upon calling them again- "We'll put you on the route." Are you serious? We were never scheduled after calling last night? Really dropped the ball here. USE ANYONE BUT THESE PEOPLE!!! They got one star because I can't give them 0. They cost way more then anyone else. You better order a week ahead of when you think you need to because it's 7-10 days (10-12) really before they will come. They don't care what your problem is. I really would like a Minus -5 Star my 81 year old Mother just had her propane disconnected per a payment due from Sept 2019 no phone call no nothing she just forgot no warning they disconnected her only means to cook her food she lives alone and they want an additional $ 100 to come back out within the next few days to reconnect her only food source what a DISGRACE this company is sickening to me and this poor old lady is going to be without food until she pays $ 100 to get them to come back out to reconnect please go to another company the lady did not care if she was able to cook food or not !!! read more
