We arrived right when they opened at 10 a.m. and were seated immediately, which was great. We initially considered sitting inside, but the smell of eggs was so overwhelming/nauseating that we opted for outdoor seating instead. The patio was charming and cozy. The service was friendly, attentive, and one of the highlights of our visit. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. We all ordered the brunch tower, which included a "fruit salad" that consisted of squishy grapes, sour Granny Smith apple chunks, and canned mandarin oranges. The fruit tasted low quality and unappetizing, and I only managed a few bites. I also ordered the bananas foster crepe, which was severely overcooked. The crepe was so tough that I needed a knife to cut through it, and the texture was far from what I would expect from a crepe. Overall, while the service was pleasant and seating was prompt, the food quality left a lot to be desired, especially considering the price point.

Afterall, we both have always enjoyed Ted's fish fries at other locations. This former Pizza Hut location was clean, and the staff were welcoming and efficient. The fish ($8.45 each) in our fresh rolls were hot, moist, tastily breaded, and delicious as usual. The large order of onion rings ($5.75) seemed extra crispy and less oily than usual. Since we've never been disappointed with the onion rings at any of their other locations these seemed extra good. Ever since my parents brought me to the original Ted's over 75 years ago I've always had a chocolate milk with my meal. No reason to stop now ($1.75). (Tip:) Order you sauces on the side, and you'll likely have a little extra. Our favorite is chili. Even the rest rooms were very clean.

Fish hanging off the laughably small bun was perfectly cooked, onion rings subbed for fries were greasy and delicious (a flaccid fry made it onto my plate and would have knocked down my rating if that's what I ordered), coleslaw had a kick of pepper and the sauces were quite good. In short, this is a greasy meal that's a lot better than it needs to be. Glad they have come to my section of the northern tundra.
